Kegels involve repeatedly contracting the muscles around your pubic bone and prostate. The purpose is to keep the muscles healthy which in turn will improve your sexual stamina. Kegels by themselves will not enlarge your penis. Other added benefits are a healthier prostate and, in the case of older people, greater bladder control. Some men have also become multi orgasmic by doing them.

The best way to learn how to do kegels is to try to stop peeing in mid stream by clamping down on the muscles in your pubic area. That is a kegel. When you actually do the exercise, however, you do not do it while peeing.

Like any exercise, when you are starting out, take it easy. Try doing 100 kegels per day to start and gradually increase the number each week until you are doing about 1000 per day. You can experiment by alternating between quick release contractions and holding the contraction for 10 seconds.

Kegels can be done anywhere: sitting at a desk, watching TV, driving, etc.

Another helpful way to locate your PC is to use one or two fingers and touch between your testicles and anus, and then flex as if you were finishing off peeing. You will feel it move. You have just located it. When a person exercizes their pc it is not really envolving the clinching of your anus, or even moving your penis. It is the muscle inside of your body. Of course you can do penis exercizes and it will help with getting an errection, but you should also do the deeper pc exercizes where you are only concentrating on that particular area. That is what will give you the ejaculary control. It is awesome to be able to have an orgasm without ejaculating.

ya kegels are the best; very good if your into tantric masturbation. after i did that for a few days, and i jacked off, my cum shot so far it suprised me; and then shot even farther a few hours later! also after jacking off, if i wanted to go at it a 2nd time, my erections were noticeably painful. that tottaly goes away after workin that pc for a while. not really any point in this post, just maybe it will encourage others to commit to it. or not. damit, im just board.

It doesn't matter if you are erect or not when you are doing basic kegels. You can do kegels anywhere: driving, sitting at a desk, watching TV, etc.

There is an advanced way of doing kegels where you do have to be erect. This involves hanging a towel over your erect penis while standing up and trying to lift your penis (and the towel) by doing kegels. Of course you must first have developed the PC muscle sufficiently, so only attempt these after a couple of months of doing the basic kegels.
