View Full Version : What to expect with jelqing?

I'm new to this whole thing and not quite sure what to expect. I'm not small now - about 6-3/4" long w/o pressing it to the bone, 7-1/4" with, and about 5-1/2" in girth - but despite that I'd still like to gain atleast an inch in length and half-inch to inch in girth.

I just started about two days ago, but here's what I've been doing. I do about 70 jelq's with an erection and about 30 without. Starting, with an erection and lubed up, I've gripped it as described in the FAQ (OK sign with palm under it facing upwards) and pulled slowly up the length of it towards the head, squeezing slightly while I'm pulling. I do each while counting to five (so about four or five seconds each). After I do the first set w/ an erection I bring myself off, and then finish the last 30 without an erection.

Given that I'd like to gain an inch in length and a half-inch in girth, does that sound like a good technique? Any sestions? Do I need to do more?

Also, what types of gains are typical? When can I -generally- expect to see results?

Your goals are certainly realistic. It may take you anywhere from three months to a year to realize those goals, everyone responds differently.

Regarding your routine, you are right to start out slowly but you shouldn't jelq with a full erection. A 50% to 75% erection is safer. Make sure to take a day off every couple of days.

*laugh* Hadn't realized that was starting off easy. After I've been at it a week or two, how many "reps" should I be doing? Also, what is the problem w/ jelqing w/ an erection (burst blood vessels?)?
