Ejaculation Control! Finally a cure!

For the past few years I have been searching for a way to controll my ejaculatory response. I have tried Kegeling, Stop start method, masturbation techniques and even hypnosis with no avail.

One day I was listening to the radio when I heard this add for a company called the Boston Medical Group. They specialize in mens Health issues such as Pre-mature Ejaculation and impotence. I was extremely sceptical, but I figured that I would give them a shot! The office visit costed me about $150.00. They checked the blood flow in my penis and sensativity of my glands.

Come to find out that about 30% of men have over sensitive glands and can't controll their ejaculatory response without some help. They prescribed Paxil for me and sent me on my way. Well when I returned home after a couple of days on business and taking the medication, my fiance' and I had the best session we have had in a long time. I was able to go 20 minutes before cumming. WOW!! This was a big breakthrough for me since I usually can only last 3 minutes at most!

This medication has very minor side effects for me. Some tension in my jaw, and I tend to yawn a little more than usual, but well worth it.

Just thought that I would share this with the group since I believe that I am not the only one searching for longer and better sex!

I've been using paxil for over a year now to assist in ejaculatory control and for me it work wonderfull. I can adjusted my dosage to give me the ideal amount of sensitivity and delay to give me control. I take 15 mg/day and have no loss in sex drive. In fact, the increased pleasure of having overcome the problem of premature ejaculation has changed my sex life dramatically. I fully endorse someone at least trying this drug (paroxetine) if they have a serious problem they want to try to gain control over. It is a serious drug, and may cause problems for some men such as lethargy, headaches, dry mouth, loss of libido, etc. However, for me, it has done nothign other than delay ejaculation. Orgasms are just a mind blowing as ever.

It does not diminish my orgasm, in fact, because of the prolong time in excitement phase, it made the orgasm stronger. I have not experienced any diminish in sex drive, in fact, more the opposite. Because of my newly found control of ejaculation, I want sex more becuase I no longer have to fear my cumming to soon.

I would suggest talking to your physician prior to taking this medication to see what side effects might occur with each individual, but as Titanium30 says, it works great for me!!

As far as how long I have to take it, The doctor said that it will take about 6 months for me to have control of my own without medication. But as long as it works, I can say that I am truly satisfied (and so can my fiance':)

Titanium30: You say that you have been on this for a year, have you noticed any changes because of the prolonged use? I noticed that you said that you have adjusted the dosage. I am taking 20 mg now, What effects does the adjusted dose have on your control?

The greater the dosage, the more difficult it is to acheive orgasm and ejaculation. I initially needed 20 mgs and stuck with that dosage until I was confident, and in fact found it was too much and that I was starting to more and more often find out that I couldn't come, except with the most frantic excitation. At 15mg I find that ejaculation is at that right balance. Never come unexpectantly and can easily slow it down. Sometime now even at 15 mg I take longer than I would like, so I will eventually taper down to 10 mg. Have tried 10mg's and it does take less stimulation to reach #10 on the 1-10 scale of ejaculator inevitability. takes a couple of days in my estimation to adjust dosage and see an effect.

My doc had never tried this therapy before, but I brought him copies of scientific studies of the therapy and explained to him that I had exhausted all other avenues like behavioral therapy. There is some definate link between sensitivity and premature ejaculation. Using a condom definately slows me down, but the last 2 gf's and my fiance were both into the pill or other forms of birth control and that made a difference.

I found that I was needing more sleep than before when I first started using paxil, but that effect wore off after a couple of months. The delay in ejaculation is a side effect that luckily has not worn off.

I have no idea why paxil did that to you. I have been on paxil (10 mg) for 2 and a half years to control my headaches and I have had absolutely no side effects sexual or otherwise besides not having the headaches. I have a really strong sex drive and paxil has done nothing to diminish that. I am pretty sure that paxil did not cause your problem and if it did, I seriously doubt that you would still be feeling any kinds of effects after having been off of it for as long as you have been. See a urologist and he will get your problem squared away.

Do you have to get Paxil pescribed or can you get it anywhere?

Jeremy: don't kid yourself. You're lucky: Paxil and the other SSRI antidepressants have huge impact on sex drive in more than half the people who take it. Turned me into a fucking eunuch! It just depends on the person. I had no sex drive, and when I did get into a sexual situation, had to take Viagra and practically inflate the thing with a pump!

paxil as well as a number of other anitidepressents without a doubt can and have caused serious sexual disfuntion in men.

Take these kinds of drugs at your own risk !!!!

i had this problem when i was younger. i might cumoff wthin 3 to 5 minutes of intercourse. But within a half hour or so i was always ready to go again and this time it took a good while to orgasm.

i never thought cumming fast the first time was really all that big a deal if u can get it up for a second round.

I wasnt with many women that minded it much either in particular if i kept them occupied while i was recovering !! :-)

Anybody try Kwangs solution?
It works pretty good against premature ejaculation.

there is a large class action lawsuit againt the makers of paxil because a large amount of people who use this drug have had serious side effects and withdrawl symtoms trying to get off this medication after prolonged use ,especially at the higher dosages.

i guarantee the majority of people useing paxil above 20 mg will need viagra to get a good erection!

Topical novacaine, a local anesthetic is sold under many brands and basically temporarily numbs the skin. Feels like your foot when it "falls asleep". Gotta make sure you clean it all off before sex, cause if you numb your woman she won't feel nothin'

Also it rules out a good bj, as she wont want that stuff in her mouth!

i'm taking 30 mg of paxil everyday for my depression and for some time i've lost a good part of my libido but then, i got a new girlfriend so my libido's back online ;)
