These surveys have actually been around for a while and are not new. There are a few things that we need to keep in mind. They both say to measure the girth "at the widest point." That is a lot different than "mid shaft." Second, the length measurement is "bone pressed." The definitive size survey tell how to measure by "pressing the ruler against the bone." I could not fine the instructions on the Durex site, but I seem to recall reading something similar. I may be wrong on that but the length is the same for both. Anyway, a 6.4 bone pressed length is still under 6 for most guys.

Also, be aware that many (if not all) of these internet studies are NOT done by actually measuring the participants. By asking men to submit their info without actually measuring, there's bound to be some "overestimating".

I heard on a HBO special that there was a recent size survey in san diego claifornia. 5,000 men were measured for length and girth. The average penis size came out to be "5.4 in length non bone pressed and "5.2 in girth. The "small" average was "4 in length and in girth it was "4.3. The "big" average was "6.5 in length and the girth was "5.8. See now you might have a 4 inch penis in length but you could have 6 inches in girth so you have to look at all aspects to be considered small or big. Now for me when I first started PE i was "6x"5.5 which I thought was small and now i can look at this and actually say im bigger than the big average which to me makes me feel a hell of a lot more comfortable. The special was about women and masturbating just in case anyone had seen it.
