Women and size... interesting net-poll

I came across this poll and thought I'd post it
(although alot of you have probably seen it before (?)

It doesn't exactly kill the "bigger is better"-myth and maybe it could be a good motivator for us PErs...
For example 67% of the women would choose an average looking man with a big pecker over a hot looking man with a small one..
Another thing is that they seem to prefer "above average" over "huge", so it's not all that "bad" :-)

I don't know whether that survey made me feel worse or better. I think the way the questions are phrased, and the overall casualness of the survey has probably lead to an exaggeration in the answers of many of the participants leading to some of the surprising stats.

Don't worry, gents -- women have NO CLUE how long an inch is in relation to a dick, so this doesn't matter. WHen they look at an average (say, 6 inch) dick and you ask them how many inches it is, they'll say 7 or 8. Ask a woman if she thinks an 8 inch dick is big, and she'll say "not really". But pull out a ruler, mark off 8 inches and show it to her, and she'll say "huge>" So the point is, girls don't really know how long an inch is!! When they answer these polls, they're guessing at how many inches various guys they've been with or think about are!

Let me tell you guys what I like most about the survey. It is the size given by the men of their flaccid penis. I always felt, and still do, that I have a small flaccid penis. I never measured before PE so I really don't know if it has grown but it does look better. I am 5'8 and 155 so many guys are much bigger than me body-wise. My flaccid penis is 3.75-4 when I lift it perpendicular and use a ruler non-bone pressed. If I let it hang and use a tape it is 4.5. I just think that is small. However, based on the survey there are lots of guys smaller than me. The those guys are also most likely taller and heavier too which makes it look even smaller on them. If those guys were measuring the hang then that even better for me. Therefore, I guess I should not feel too bad.

Although the poll is clearly not scientific, the responses correspond to other polls and surveys I have seen.

I once overheard my next door neighbor talking to some of her girl friends on a Saturday night before they were going out clubbing looking for men. My neighbor stated that she had an ex boy friend with an enormous penis. She didn't say how big. She also said that she needed to find a man with a big penis and her friends all agreed. It was after hearing them that I started my Internet search on PE that led me to this forum.

Aside from the obvious "self selection bias," which is easy to see with the consistent "assymetrical" distributions all up and down the survey, the respondents obviously are not a typical cross section of American women. Not at all. Just look at some of the outlandish percentages and some of the "behavioral" characteristics of women interviewed.

It does, however, express the opinions of the women surveyed in this study. The problem is, who are they?

I laughed when I saw many of the atypical characteristics more than proportionately represented.

Now, if you run into these sorts of women, you know where they stand, I guess.

However, if one conducted a REAL, scientifically "randomized" survey, the results would be quite different. Just look at the number of lovers for God's sakes.........doesn't sound like typical Sally, does it? Half the women had sex with blacks? Ok, give me a break here. This is not representative of the population at all. I don't think you can "infer" much from this except that all else the same, women do like bigger but they can probably take it or leave it. Now, their fantasies are something else.

I agree about the questions asked and how they were asked - somewhat leading I'd say. Also, take note of the age groups of the respondents - many younger women who may lack maturity and experience. Even with these "complaints" (excuses?), it still doesn't make me feel very good. Ironically, at the end we see supposedly accurate measurements and they come in pretty close to what we've all heard. So where do all these women get off about larger and much larger penises if there aren't that many around? As dangleboy points out - they don't have a sense of measurement and I guess it's mostly in their minds. Me, I'll just continue my PE efforts.

Women say they like big penises, but upon encountering a really big one they get turned off, they like to see it sure, but they would not stay with that man for a long time, simply because functionally speaking a huge penis isn't all that attractive. Ask yourself this gentlemen, do you really like those models that have huge breasts? Now a big penis is attractive I admit it, and I for one would like to have one, but I feel that I would like it more than my wife would, just like some girls like huge breasts more than the men around them do, when I see a size D woman, unless her body is in proportion to her breast and the whole package comes together than it is not necessarily attractive, I would take firmness over size in a heart beat, and between you and me the bigger they are the more they sag.

If she prefers a big penis, what is big? She knows how big she can be - big enough for a baby and if that is what she wants then the inevitable question that flows from predelictions on size is:

We all know that body height weight physique etc has no relationship to a mans penis size? Even more impossible to discern with clothing on.

These so called surveys are simply ridiculous. It is well established fact (Pyschological and Criminal Research) that people judge size differently when asked to describe size without a comparative frame of reference to use in response. Example - Q Was it a big gun? A Yes, huge, a big black one. Q How big? A - Indicates with hands open distance of about one foot. Witness or participant is shown group of objects all different. Weapon used in hold-up on table. Witness unable to identify said weapon.

So, people invariably will not be able to pick out object of comparable size to that seen in some event if it is not either completely familiar to them or an everyday object with which they are familiar.

Women also tend to remember using colour, texture and smell more readily than men. Men are more spatially adapt. Not So? well ever asked a woman for road side directions about how to get somewhere? Ever been abused for not telling them how to get somewhere when you did? but not how they could remember. You know, not left right one mile up left and then right again third house on right BUT go to the corner with a red roof then left down to the white church then right round and down to where the blue house is then its the place with the white porch and flowers you cant miss it.

So - she how is it likely she will remember your penis ? as being: bluish, reddish, thick, vieney, bumpy, hard, soft and NOT that it was six or three or ten inches long and one two or four inches wide.

Finally they always exagerate about everything they love to.

I figure you should want a big dick because it makes YOU happy, and boy it sure does.

After investigating this subject on the net for a while I have actually found the answer to the ol' "size-matters"-thing:

WOMEN ARE DIFFERENT! Some cares about size, others don't, some like'em big, some in the middle and some like'em small (!)

If you have a big fat 9-incher, some women are gonna LOVE it, and some will be scared as hell! After being on a message board (in Norwegian) dedicated to the subject, I have seen that it's typical for women to think they can speak for all the women in the world.
