I was wondering if anyone who was haveing a problem of getting or keeping an erection had cured it by doing pe.Also could you tell me how long it took before it was cured and what routine was you doing. Thanks in advance.
Romeo: I didn't have erectile dysfunction, but I can tell you that I have more frequent and better boners when I jelq regularly -- so much so that even if I didn't get the gains I want, I would do short sessions every day or so just for that. I get semi-woodies throughout the day now for no apparent reason -- sort of like being 18 again. I am 40.

I have some info, unsubstantiated, but reliable source that the penis needs fairly frequent and heavy duty blood flow to stay healthy, and that in fact, night time errections are natures way of making sure that this happens.
jelqing seems to me, a sure fire way of making sure this happens. I am with dangleboy on this one. I will also add that since I have switched my routine from one 30minute jelqing session to 15minutes morning and evening, I have found my morning errections to be even more substantial.
Yeah, Bona. I've heard that about night time erections too. Hey, let's keep in touch on the effectiveness of these short, hard sessions -- we're both experimenting with the same thing. Sure beats trying to find 45 minutes and suffering through those long sessions, so let's hope we get some gains. The effect on erections is sure good.

dangleboy,
I don't know what is a reasonable time to stay on this tack. I like the side benefits of the general sense of well being and the shorter sessions are definitely easier on me. I feel less burdoned by trying to get myself going for a morning marathon. As I said before, I have been plateaued at at the 6.75" el since january 1 and I am not sure how I will break that. what i have noticed is some slight girth gains since I have changed my routine. I am not sure these are permanent though. Usually I am qute a bit thicker after jelqing but that usually subsides some by the next morning. I think the twice daily sessions may just not be allowing that to happen.
cheers and good gains bb
Bona: I'm looking primarily for girth at this point, and hoping these sessions will work.
I take it your gains plateaued while you were doing longer sessions --- that they didn't stop only when you shifted to the short ones (then you'd know it was the short sessions that didn't work).
What were your gains, and what routine did you use? I can't remember.

I didn't have any problems getting hard but hard wasn't what it used to be like when I was in my 20's
I'm 37 now and I didn't seem to get as many night hardons either but since I started pe about 6 months ago I have rock hard hardons and every time I wake at night I'm sporting wood that is diamond hard so it's helped big time.

started 8/1/00 at 6.0 el 5.0 eg jelqing and pumping hap hazzardly. settled down to pretty consistent 30 to 40minutes jelq daily 5 days a week by november usually followed by 30 to 60 minutes pumping (1 7/8" cylinder about 5hg) time allowing. 1/1/01 6.75 el 5.5 eg no measurable progress since then. switched to 15 to 20minutes jelqing twice daily 5 days a week and have cut back pumping to once or twice a week. ten days ago and so far no measureable size difference.(I usually do some stretching on the off days. only 5 to 10 minutes with some of the stuff from big al's program)
another thing I like about the short sessions is I am not so rushed if I run over, rather than rushing a longer session. I have had several minor injuries trying to rush the warm up or just pushing too hard trying to get in a longer session when I really don't have the time, if that makes sense. just a matter of setting my expectations.
my personal goal is to get to 7.0 el by the one year mark. from then on I plan to develope some kind on light maintanence program.
I will check back and compare note in a few.
cheers, bb
Bona: you may remember when I was trying to figure the best way to measure overall gains -- it was Penis Volume (PV) - the actual increased volume of the penis, the size of the unit you're actually putting inside someone, the amount of meat. We came up with the formula: length times girth times girth again, divided by 12.57.
You've increased your PV from 11.92 cubic inches to 16.24. That's a 27% increase in the overall volume of your dick, if I'm not mistaken. That's huge. You should feel good.
Wonder if you think the pumping did anything or not. I'm inclined to stick with just jelquing.

I dont do jelqing but what would exercises such as the squeeze or a uli thing work as good?
Also thanks for the replies.

the very nature of the penis is to able to tolerate long periods of time with little or no circulation, otherwise a long errection would certainly cause damge.
so I don't think pumping sessions or squeezes are definitely a bad thing. My point was that the huge forced infusion of fresh blood through jelqing somehow recharges the batteries as it were.
Dangleboy, I get a kick out of pumping, however, I am coming to the realisation that pumping alone does not contribute to any long term gains, in fact, it is my gut feeling that frequent pumping may have been contributing to some weekened tissue that may have been the cause of my frequent bleeding while jelquing.

I believe I have a certain degree of ED. I started pe-ing 2/15/01, yes today is 3 months. After less than 2 months into pe-ing I had good gains of 1" in erect length, girth was improved, & so was my flaccid length. And towards the beginning I had rock hard erections, especially waking up in the morning. Then a while back I saw somebody's post on the "reverse kegels". Well, I been doing this for at least 18 years, I just didn't know what it was called. Throughout the years I have been having intermittent bouts of ED. Than when I saw that post on the "reverse kegels", I started them again. Now for about 3 weeks now I haven't had a single erection which interfers with my workouts. About the most I can get it up is @50%. This means I can't do any girth or sqeeze exercizes. But at least I can do jelqing, at least sometimes. Now what I'm saying is that I blaim the "reverse kegels" for this. There's nothing else I'm doing that should cause this.
I know a lot of you guy's are just starting to do this exercize, & are probably enjoying them, but trust me when I say they are no good in the long run. PLEASE,PLEASE, for the sake of yourself & your loved one, DON'T DO IT!!!
Thanks..Pat
good grief patman: an inch in only 2 months? How often and how long are your jelquing sessions?
Do you think the length gain might be just regaining better erections that get longer and harder, and not the actual stretching or growing of tissue? That happens for some who have had poor erections. They're getting back the length they once had.

Hello again.
Yes, 1"el gain the first 2 months, & today is 3 months pe-ing. I dry jelq mostly about 98% of the time. But I can't give you an estimated time of my jelq workouts because my erctions are way to eratic.
You said, length gain might be just regaining better erections that get longer and harder, and not the actual stretching or growing of tissue. Damm, is there truth to this. You mean to tell me all these years I was really 7" & all I had to do is give it some circulation. I hate to think all of this pe-ing work wasn't for nothing. I haven't heard this discussed on the boards. Do you know where I can learn more about this? Well, at least I know I increased my girth & flaccid length is greatly increased.
Thanks....Pat
