I have quit the jelqing part of my routine because of the loss of over all sensetivity. Just wondering, how long it will take to regain what I have lost. Any comments from others that have giving PE a rest, would be appreciated.
Thanks quest
1 Quest: Is the loss of sensitivity all the time or for some time after a jelq session? It is normal to lose sensitivity for a while after jelqing. But by the next morning things should be back to normal. (7)

7UP: After 1 1/2 months of jelqing, 2 days on and 1 off, I have given it a rest for 1 week and still have slight numbness in the shaft, considerable numbness and a tuff coat of skin on the glands. I am curious if these conditions are caused by the friction and force that has been been put on the the skin of the penis, or has there been some internal nerve end damage. For example: 2 months ago I had my finger stomped on in a game of basketball. It went totally numb for 1 day, and is still numb and hard at the tip. I guess personally, I can not give up sensitivity for size gains!

Hi guys, just to give my $0.02. I don't think it is "normal" to have your dick go numb for a few days after jelqing. I would take your time, ease up a little and settle in for the long haul. You should be a little sore not numb down one side etc. You only have one dick - we all complain about it being to small, what if it was small and didn't work.
For many PE takes time, and if you are a quick gainer you will notice quick results with a reasonable workout. There was a post awhile back from "Dance", I think, and he tore the tunica while hanging weights, God bless him. Just be careful guys.
1 1/2 years of PE and still growing
Peace
Hey 1 guest.
I had the same problem, except my tuff skin was on my glans, the entire shaft, & the top part of my balls where the skin is baggy. And it was very rough! Was I worried....yes I was. I was'nt sure what did this. But I slowed down, & after each workout I put a hefty amount of moisturizer all over for a good week, & it all went away. I mean completly. I'm not sure if it was the friction of the skin, but the problem was solved. I now dry jelq.
Here is a quote from somebody on this forum. Sorry don't have his name.
"this could mean different things to different people. to me all it means is putting my closed fist on the bottom of the partially-erect penis, clenching it to cut off blood flow, and forcing the pressure to build in the penis by stroking up towards the head. there is no skin-skin friction (which would be painful) because the penis skin is loose while not fully erect (at least for me) and therefore just slides up towards the top."
I'm making out much better out with the dry jelq than with the wet way, though I still put moisturizer all over when I'm done. My skin is now as soft as a baby's bottom!
Hope this helps.

1 quest, when you jelq you release the ok-grip before reaching the head, I hope?
If not, I guess your head got thicker skin and lost sensitivity due to the friction from your hands.
If this is the case, I guess you could try what Newman wrote about a while ago:
You lube your head real well with a water-based lube, could also add some vitamin E skin lotion, then put on a condom and just wear it with your cock lubed 24/7 for a couple of weeks.
This will make the skin thinner again and possibly increase the sensitivity.
About the shaft, my only guess is that you pressed too hard while jelquing.
Try arnica, don't know if it would help, but it wouldn't hurt trying.

sounds like nerves, I had some nerve damage in my hand
once it took about six months for it to all come back.
before I found this board and the huge knowledge base of the people here I was using the max extender and I'm sure I was on the road to some serious nerve damage
that thing wraps around the head of your dick and strangles the shit out of your dick you can't wear it for more than 20 min with out your dick going numb and cold. "it does work but it's dangerous". I fucked up a tiny vein it's like a cord running up the bottom of my penis it's small almost on the outside doesn't hurt at all I would love to know if anybody else has seen this and how long it takes to go away I was staring to get good results and had to stop. Sorry to go off the subject but I know how you feel you just want someone to say oh that happened to me dont worry about it it will go away in a week, good luck bro keep posting
