I have been looking for a cheap protein powder. The cheapest i have seen it was about2.5 cent a gram. That would mean i would spend about $3.50 a day for my protein and would not want to spend $100 a month for protein. If you guys can suggest a good quality whey protein or egg and milk protein powder that is cheap it will be greatly appreciated.
Well, aside from the fact that there are many brands at many prices, some good some shit, you'd best look to mail order/internet to save money. Most huge mail order stores are about 50% percent off what GNC and other franchises will rip you off for. I personally use Next Designer, but it is more expensive than many. It mixes well and digest well for me. I've tried other brands for less and they sometimes vary suspiciously from batch to batch. Remember one thing...powder is a SUPPLEMENT...don't try to live on it or make a meal of it. Big Al put it best in a "cheap protien" thread which may or may not exist anymore... a big ol' bag of frozen chicken really does pack some punch when it comes to price and effectiveness for adding more protien to your diet. Despite the outrages claims supp companies make on protien, I think the real food form is still the best and often much cheaper and fun to eat. groaboa
