I am very much into bodybuilding. But I have this gut that I need to get rid of. I do sit ups I watch what I eat, etc.I want to diet but know that I need energy to be able to lift. Any ideas? My stats are 5'7", 200# stocky but muscular, 46 chest, 36 waist. I would appreciate any advice any of you guys might have. (Just watch the fat jokes) ha!

Hi! Go to www.cyberdiet.com and make a personal nutritional profile. I did this and followed it strictly. Although I never changed my diet really, I just ate smaller portions and did my exercises. Since February I have lost 15 kg. I do a total body workout and then go for a bike ride (but now I bike almost everyday, except when it rains). Low level of carbs and cardio is the way to go, at least it did for me.

Stay fairly close to what your BMR indicates you need to take in, do cardio 3-5 x per-week, lift regularly, eat a good amount of protein, small frequent meals = gut will go (in time) but you should keep your muscle mass.
