View Full Version : Diet Supplements
What's the general opinion of Fat Burners and Energy boosters and diet drinks? I'm thinking of trying some as a supplement to getting back into working out. I know the effects (if any) tend to only be while you are taking them, but I'm only planning on using them (if at all) to help initially and then ween off.
I've heard most all of them aren't healthy (mainly the ECA ones that can cause heart attacks) so I'm curious as to if there are any that are considered at least not un-healthy and what advantages it might partake.
Course being one that tends to hate taking supplements/vitamins/pills of any form (including multivitamins and aspirin when I have a headache), I probably won't bother in the end, but I'm still curious about it.
try ripped fuel by twinlab and taraxatone(diuretic) to lose weight. I used this stack and was in contest level shape.
Cycle-on for no longer than 3 weeks.
Metabolite was a good thermogenic. I think that thermogenics work by increasing your body temperature to increase your metabolism in order to burn more calories and spare lean muscle. However, it did have some side effects for me. It gave me the shakes and made me sweat a lot more (increased body temp), plus it also increased my heart rate. However, as i kept up with taking it, the side effects seemed to subside and are only noticeable to me slightly from time to time. Metabolite was the supplement i used when i lost around 60 lbs, and i'm still on it and still losing, however like all diet supplements, you'd have to be on a diet with it...lol. Some other supplements you should look into are Xenadrine RF i think it's called and Stacker 2.

Biotest MD6 - hands dwon the best. Have used them all....MD6 does not give the jitter like the others do and it seems easier on the stomach. All these products do shrink your dink while you are on them, so don't go to a nude beach or anything while taking these fat burners

i agree about MD6 being a great supp, but When i took it I got jitters and 'shakey hand disease' for about an hour straight after I took it. I also didnt notice any shrinkage so I guess I traded one con for the other.
If you dont like taking tablets and caps, a company called peak body do a fat burner that is a drink, its in a little bottle you just add water, put the lid back on, shake it up and your ready to go. its got carnitine, chromium, and ALA in it.
