I know some of the bodybuilders here have used pro-hormones and some have used steroids.. so first here is my history.. I started lifting in 1996. I lift hard and tryed pro-hormones in 1999. Well they didn't do a whole hell of alot.. I then started educating myself on steroid usage.. read everything about them talked with 'experts' on the subject and everything else. I will admit to doing one 12 week cycle in 2000. I haven't done anything else since.
After personally researching the steroids I used I can say I feel they are safer than the pro-hormones that I used. My main reason for this is the substance I used has been used throughout the world for a long period of time and has mild side effects and is safe for the body IF NOT ABUSED. there is no problem with recreational useage of the stuff (i used). There are some roids that are bad news that people use but that is there body not mine. I want to know how yall feel about this. Do the pro-hormone users feel like there pills are safer than the roids you can buy at Walgreens?

There is a lot more literature available on steroids than prohormones, obviously, since they are medical drugs used to cure disease. So many feel safer juicing. But the knowledge required to plan and implement a cycle is immense if you do it yourself. I am not one to take peoples advice per say, I would do my homework and come up with a plan and offer it to the experts for their input. But think about it, you need to know about ALL the available drugs to decide which is best for you, their doses based on your goals, which combinations are more effective, side effects and how to defend against them (which involves learning about a whole bunch of other compounds), then lets start on getting a source who will not scam you, the safest ways to obtain your order, where you will store your gear (particulary important to the pokers, as orals could be hidden in an asprin bottle or something similar), then what about fakes, you need to know how to identify a fake and what to do if you get one (ie expose your source), and all this is just the tip of the iceberg.

That, I think, is the reason prohormones still sell. Lets face it, 90% of them are bunk and some do more harm than good. But with the ones that are (slightly) effective, you have everything planned out for you, your doses etc. There is less thinking involved. This is also the reason roids have such a bad rep, people go into a cycle knowing nothing about what they are taking. Hell, a lot of people dont even know that there are different types of steroids!

err, I am rambling on and have completely lost the point I was trying to make. Never mind. If you find it let me know.
