Hello, I have been reading quite much already, but I just noticed that I am not completely sure if I am doing the jelqing correctly. First I thought one should do it by palm facing towards floor and both forefinger and thumb facing also towards floor. I reckon this is not right, or is it?

But now I saw this picture at Tom Hubbards page and it seemed that the guy who was jelqing had his palm facing towards floor ,as I presumed, but his thumb and forefinger didn't point towards ground. They pointed towards left and right. That makes a pretty big difference. So the guy who is jelqing is not touching the sides of his penis at all, but instead he is touching the bottom and the "upper part" of his member. I read one message where someone, canīt remember the name, stated that one shouldnīt touch the bottom side of your penis because there is this main vein or something and you might lose the sensivity of your penis. Which style is the correct one? When my palm is facing downwards are my fingers pointing also down or to the sides?

I am trying to make myself as clear as possible. Right now my forefinger and thumb are in the same level when I am jelqing. However, what comes to that Tom's picture I believe one's thumb should be "lower" on the bottom and forefinger "higher" on the top. So right now I am not touching the "darker" brown area of my dick. If someone could please answer to me I would appreciate it a lot. I am not native so those jelqing explanations are hard for me to understand.

Your sincerely,

Durandil

Your jelqing style is a matter of application and personal preferance. There are a few ways you can jelq. Different hand positions hit different parts of the penis differently. First, however I must address your statement "They pointed towards left and right. That makes a pretty big difference. So the guy who is jelqing is not touching the sides of his penis at all." If you have an OK grip on your penis, you should be touching touching the entire length of the penis as you jelq. Regardless of your hand positioning this should happen with every jelq stroke. Now hand positioning, in my opinion, puts a bit more pressure on different areas of the penis, dependent upon the hand position. As you stated the traditional OK grip seems to not touch the sides at all, when in actuality that grip touches the whole shaft, but places an emphasis on pressure the top and bottom of the shaft.
That is one jelqing style. There are two others that I know of, in my admittedly modest knowledge of Pe. Someone with more Pe experience will most assuredly come along and add to the post thereby increasing our knowledge. The others are palms up and palms to the side. The OK grip does not change, just the palm positioning. You can decide on your preferance by experimenting with them. I personally don't like Hubbard's palm down method, because the hand position is awkward, it's like masterbating with your hand backward. Additionally, I can't see the jelq stroke. I'll use palm up and to the sides, because I can see the OK grip and the tops of my hands don't obstruct my view of the exercise like palms down does.. I count and watch every stroke, so I need to see as much of my shaft as possible. I know it might sound strange, but it is as much a visualization technique as it is an injury prevention technique. I can watch the amount of pressure I put on my shaft and see my shaft's reaction to the pressure. The sight of my penis engorged helps me see what the upper limit of my jelq pressure threshold is.

Thanks for your reply Biguli, I got your point. Actually I know that I am doing it right now. I prefer doing it palm down, but sometimes I do it palm up. I do it by pressing the sides; I can feel the blood rushing through my veins and in general training feels good and intense. The beginning is hard, but when you get the idea, itīs nothing but down-hill :)
