Compared to the Bib Hanger, the swim cap sucks.
Yes, you heard me say that.
For those of you who don't know me and my story, here it is in brief: in 1996, fascinated by the possibility that I might be able to get a bigger dick by hanging weights on it, and unwilling to pay big bucks for some chromed pieces of steel and surgical tubing (American Bodycrafters), I rigged some homemade weights and four months later had a 7" dick instead of a 6" dick. I was thrilled.
The web was just starting to take off, and I started a web site that grew, and moved, always delivering the message that I did it, maybe you can do it, and if you want to try, here's how to do it without paying big bucks. For a long while, I also slammed the scammers, but the penis enlargement scammers are a Hydra-headed monster; new ones popping up every week, some of them stealing text I had written, directly from my site. That was a losing battle.
I have never recommended anybody buy a commercial product, but - this may surprise some of you - I've always been ready to support a product if I felt it was radically better than anything you could make at home.
It's here. The Bib Hanger is simply brilliant, and though I haven't tried the homemade designs to compare them, I can't imagine they come close to the comfort and ease of use the real thing offers.
Consider this: when I got my first inch, I hung a maximum of 6 pounds - at 7 it was just too painful with the loop. With the Bib (I prefer the small version), I hang 10 pounds to "relax" after a session with 15 pounds. With a 'mere' 5 pounds I don't even bother to do the skin-protecting wrap. Does more weight mean more chance of gains? Somehow, I think so. (Remember to start light - 2 or 3 pounds max - if you haven't hung weights before.)
$100 is a lot to pay. But Bib isn't scamming. He's got a lot of money into development, and the technology (molded plastic and gel) is impressive. If you're committed to growth, weights are great. If you want to hang weights, this is the best way to do it that I've ever seen, period.
I have done a lot of experimental PE stuff with my dick (the worst damage came from pumping, BTW), and I can tell you that when you try to attach something to hang weights, your penis is not going to say ""Yeah, baby!" the first time, unless you're really lucky. There is a learning curve with the Bib, and the instructions could use a little clarification (maybe I'll do some illustrations if I get ambitious!). So play with it, go light as recommended to start, learn to feel when there's a pinch. Actually, I think if you start out with two pounds (do I need to tell you I didn't?) you'll probably face a lot easier Bib learning curve than I did. (Here's your chance to be smarter than Tom Hubbard.)
You need to know: I have tried both the big and the small version, and prefer the small. Bigger sent them to me for free to try, expressing his gratitude for my getting him started. I get nothing from the sale of them, other than the pleasure of repaying him for inspiring me to push beyond the resistance of my first plateau - I'm as excited about this as I was in 1996. (I plan to see more growth. After twelve hours, I'm starting to feel changes, but not ready to believe anything I might measure yet - very similar to my first two weeks in 1996. Another couple weeks and I'll know if anything definite is happening, and if not I plan to carry on until it does. But that's beside the point, except that I haven’t been able to do this so easily with so much weight before...)
...the main thing is that the Bib is awesome. If you believe PE will work for you (and for some people it may not) and are committed to the effort, buy one. If you're uncertain, by all means play around with other techniques, including the swim cap. By the time you start seeing results, and realize it's happening, go for the Bib. You won’t regret it.
