I'm a novice at PE and probably should have done some more research before I bought a pump. But here's a warning for anyone planning to purchase one -- don't buy the Dr. Bross Super Professional Deluxe Pump.
I don't know about their other pumps, but this one was a total scam. On the Alpine Labs website, they describe the pump as this marvel of space-age technology -- just one touch activates an internal power pack, no batteries required. This is a complete lie. It's just a shoddily made hand pump. I can't believe they're getting away with this. I learned the hard way -- $100 down the drain. Hopefully this will keep someone else from getting ripped off.
I'm sticking with jelquing and stretching from now on.
