View Full Version : Got my Bib!

I got it in the mail today, and it exceeds my expectations! After reading Dance's explanations of how hard it was to adjust, I was wondering what I was getting myself into, but after fiddling with it for about 20 minutes, I'm now hanging more comfortably than ever. Just some notes off the top:

1) It would help if the washers were connected to the flynuts, it makes it truly a one handed manouver instead of two, especially on the top screw.

2) Why are the bottom bolts so long? They could probably be half the height, they look like they're for someone with 10" girth.

3) The top bolt seems to be lacking a little, the pivot seems like it will destroy the plastic over time. Did the early testers experience this? Did they have the same injection molded plastic?

4) I'm still having the same problem as with my mark 2 Bibs, my penis is being pulled straight down, but the head angles up about 10 degrees. It's like the hangers pull at the middle of my shaft, so the head rises up. It's kind of hard to explain, but it may be no big deal, I was just wondering if that was familiar.

5) The padding seems like it won't last, but I'll be careful and hopefully it will. Is it cast so that I can buy some more padding?

There are tons of good ideas, the serations, the interlocking teeth, the hinge is perfect. I'm taking measurements tonight, this will be when my *real* hanging begins!

Thanks Bib, the signature is a nice touch ;)

Gmg,

Glad you like it.

1) It would help if the washers were connected to the flynuts, it makes it truly a one handed maneuver instead of two, especially on the top screw.

If you have the top bolt in the ‘retracted’ position before attaching, it is easy. IOW, let the bolt slide all the way out to the outside of the shell. Then, close the hanger with one hand, and pull out the bolt and slip it in the washer well. Do you know where to get wingnuts with the washer already attached?

2) Why are the bottom bolts so long? They could probably be half the height, they look like they're for someone with 10" girth.

To give room to run out the wing nuts and make adjustments to the adjustment nuts easier. It was designed to accommodate an 8" plus girth.

3) The top bolt seems to be lacking a little, the pivot seems like it will destroy the plastic over time. Did the early testers experience this? Did they have the same injection molded plastic?

I probably did not trim it close enough. The bolt should not touch the soft plastic. Close, but not touch. It should just grind off with no problems.

It was designed to pull from the middle and to allow the head to rise slightly. Also, the head should naturally come up some. That is preferable to down, and looks better IMO.

5) The padding seems like it won't last, but I'll be careful and hopefully it will. Is it cast so that I can buy some more padding?

The padding should be held in place mainly by pressure. You have to be sure you have tightened enough to accommodate the amount of weight to be hung. It should allow for mistakes, because it tends to want to be pulled back under weight strain, and the major anchors are at the front. This beats the other types of padding I tried, and I tried many. Padding by it’s very nature is subject to depreciation. But this should last for years if not abused. Also, as time goes on, it will get slightly tougher.

The padding is applied as a liquid at 350 degrees. You can send it in and I can replace it. Don’t know about cost.

First of all, I want to say that this thing is the most comfortable hanging method that I have ever used!! No more noose-stuff for me! Anyway, my only complaints are minimal: 1) I lost one of the nuts that attach the blue strap the first day, so I had to go buy some extras. I guess as I did my jumping jacks :-) the nut loosened and fell off. Also lost a washer. Solution: I will keep extras on hand. 2) Still vague on if I am doing it right (position of hanger, etc). If pics aren't possible, a "lifelike replica" (ie dildo) could be used in a pic wearing it to show us correct form, positioning etc. These are MINOR and I'm sure with time, hundreds of "hangees" will have links of their hints, tips and pics. Thanks again a thousand times over Bib. And thank your wife too. I know from personal experience that PE is not something that all wives/GF's can understand, let alone live with.
