Al, another board I visit encountered this same problem, popularity comes with a price :)

I clicked the link, only option available seems to be paypal. I'm not set up to use it, and for personal reasons won't. Is there a regular mail address we can send a donation to? Any suggestions on amounts needed, or just looking for goodwill offerings? Thanks by the way for providing these fantastic, supportive boards...

I think you run a wonderful forum, and I spend a lot of time on it. I would like to help you out - this forum must be a stayer.

Paypal is not good for me though, I live in Europe, and will not authorize any company to deliver my money to I don't know where. There are more computers involved in such transactions than I care to trust. That from being a computer freak for almost 25 years.

I do use my credit card on the net, but only directly to companies like amazon, which are trusted parties.

Tell you what, like RB, I'll send some money to a mail address, if you'll tell me how to do this in a secure way.

I was just looking over the numbers, and for the month of July we had 2.22 million hits! The traffic here has doubled since April and is growing yet. This is great news for the success of this site, but to support this growth, we must immediately improve the resources which run this site. Currently we are exceeding our allotted resources, as you may have noticed over the past month with the poor performance and daily brief site crashes.

The monthly cost of hosting and maintaining this site is going to increase, and any help will be sincerely appreciated. Any little bit will help... $1... $5.... $25... whatever you feel is appropriate for your situation.

Peforum.net is now on its own Virtual servers: ns1.peforum.net & ns2.peforum.net. We will be better able to handle all of the bandwidth this way.
