First post here, hello to all :)

My beginning stats are 6" nbp erect length and 5" EG at midshaft. My goal is to get to 8"nbp erect length and 5.5-6" eg girth. I know its going to take alot of work to get there but I WILL stick with it till I do.

My question is how to begin. I have read many times that the thicker the penis the harder it is to get length which makes sense to me, so should I go ahead and hang in order to get the length I desire and THEN work on girth. Can I do both, such as do 2 sets of hanging followed by some jelqing. Or should I just jelq away and see what happens?

I have read almost every post on this board, thunders, and every other piece of PE info I can get my hands on. I am familiar with the techniques and the dangers of PE. I know to start slow and work my way up in whatever I do. I'm not starting this with a hotshot attitude, I know that injury can come quickly and gains can come slowly so I plan on doing this like a marathon and not a race.

Any and all advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Well you've definitely done your homework. You can never know too much about PE, and there's alot of stuff to know before getting started. I still learn something new everytime I read these boards. With your frame of mind, you should do really well with PE.

From what I've read, I'd say a gradual increase of intensity is your best bet. Since you're just starting out, I would stay keep the routine simple consisting of stretching and jelqing. See how your penis reacts to that, and see what gains come out of it. Then when gains slow down, or if gains don't come from a stretching/jelqing routine, you can turn to hanging. Everyone has a different opinion. Hopefully others will throw their opinion in.

If you do any type of stretch or hanging routine, you should follow it up with some jelqing to restore circulation, even if you're not looking for gains through jelqing. If you're looking for length gains through jelqing, I would jelq around 50% erect. Anything from 70% erect and up, you'd be focusing on girth through jelqing.

ok, im not advising against hanging, but i suggest that you give manual streching a go before you shell out for the hanger. as many members will tell you they have gained phenominally from hanging (just ask bib), but as newbie (no disrespect), i wouldnt suggest going into hanging for about two months (this is no time in a PE career), during this time you will get a better "feel" of your penis, and know what are your limits, whereas if you stick a weight on your dick its not gonna make itself lighter, whereas you can easily reduce intensity of stretches.

as YGuy says, you have done your homework, with your goals, i would suggest that you break the 2" goal down into four 0.5" goals, which will make those targets seem less further away.

if you want to add your length first then do some streches for a few weeks and then go onto the dld blaster (great excersise), but i suggest always, afterwards jelq for at least as long as you streched. this will restore circulation and reduce potential impotence (found that out the hard way).

otherwise, enjoy the ride, youll learn a lot more from here than simply how to make your dick bigger,

Great suggestions,

I think im going to go ahead and do a good stretch/jelq routine for about 2 months or so. At that point I'm going to start with some light weight hanging followed by a little jelqing on a 2 day on 1 day off routine. I'll make sure to document with measurements and photos. Thanks again for any advice.

and itll be nice to know how much more effective hanging is than manual streching as you will have used both, and be able to compare.

remember not to measure too often as this could lead to you becoming discouraged, once a month or so should be plenty.

I probably showed a flagrant disregard for the advised beginners routine when I started two months or so ago. I began with, and still use, a 2 x 1 hour manual stretching session per day, with no increase in tension since my first session. I've grown 1.75" length in that time. I assume I'm lucky - best go with the general consensus on this.

I intend to start jelqing soon.

Wow, that's a lot of gain in a short time! I'm envious. I'm beginning to wonder if there is a correlation between gains and how big you are to begin with; like maybe generally speaking, a dick is capable of gaining a certain percentage over the size that it started out as.
