Hey guys, i finally had the balls and ordered the PJ..
i just got it this afternoon, and i'll have to confess ...i had to wipp out the old salami and test it out right here in my office,

you know what it was worth it.. the small amount of time that i used it , felt the head of my penis swell like hell, so i'll be using this puppy a lot...lol Now all i need is to find some time alone, without the wife hunting me down,

hey pump,

good to hear that you like your new toy,

Those things can be made for a fraction of the cost. Just take two rolling pins LOL not really but you get the idea.

Hi Guys,
I hate to burst anyone's bubble about the power jelq device BUT.......
I have seen the pictures on the web and with respect to all of you who have spent your money, my wife does some canning, you know preserves and such and to take the hot jars out of the pot of boiling water she has this tool that looks uncanilly like the PJ device. I am not an expert on engineering things but I know a tool and I know a fraud when I see one. Try going to a kitchen supply shop and modify-ing one fo these tools. I am sure you'll find them a perfect match....

Take a look at this, it costs $4.50

Sorry if I have offended anyone here..

PS!!
I am not saying this thing doesn't work, I am saying thatit is NOT a marvelous feat of engineering that it is touted to be. It could be more affordable is the point.

Fuck it, I'll just sell the PJ stock and buy that stock. it's going through the roof. I just bought a lifetime supply, really I did.

what a f***ing racket, 60 bucks for a pj!?!? That angers me a bit (bought one but dont us it now). I guess its all about the $ though. Just cover those things in a bit of foam and you have a PJ.

I thought they were 34.95? That's at least what I paid for mine, I even think there was no shipping charge for being in the United Staes.

Well I got mine with two additional rollers which came to 60.

Side note: The rollers are nothing more than thermal pipe insulator over what looks like cut pvc. Retail value: $1 (if that)

Ok! i comprehend it now. I must say i am not a arts and crafts guy and as long as it works, I won't complain. If I tried to build one I would just procrastinate, but that is my nature. But if you know you can build one, I can see your point.

Look guys,
I Know it can be frustrating finding out it cost more than it should have. I have been there too.
The second point really was that with some ingenuity a common (or not so common) tool can be used for our purposes. Now paying 34.95 (TT) and up to $60.00 was really for lack of knowledge. Bib has his hanger, there are the jelq sticks and the hanger made out of 2 6" pieces of PVC pipe. I personally use a $1.95 hook, a 2' piece of old clothes line rope (the old rope is made of cotton so it's soft) and a gage to "pull" while I am at my desk. I wrap with a ped which is a short sock that doesn't't come over the ankle. Hanging, yes! I can get 15 lbs of pressure going and I haven't bought much of anything but the hook, I already owned the gage which can be bought for about $12.00.
Power jelq is a good idea, I remember a post where some guys were saving up for them, for about $10.00 they can own one now. We just need a program to go with it :)
There could be more of this stuff around. We just have to look.

I agree with you on most of it. If money isn't an issue, then go buy the stuff. Of course the true problem is hiding your equipment from prying eyes of roomates, family, friends, and kids.

I was reading on some yahoo group that some guy was pissed over the cost of these BIb Hangers now. He cried they were too expensive at $60.00 like a year or two ago. That's his problem for waiting to get them to now. There basically doubled in price. I own one and have no problem with the cost. If it works it works. That's how I judge it. I am usually a bargain hunter, but as long as I get what I pay for I can't complain. Look at some of the dudes on here who bought extenz and all that pill crap. I heard some people drop like a Ben franklin a month on that stuff and need a 3 month supply plus. So overall I think the devices are so much more reasonable in price.

Though every time Bib gives up on production all these people yell and scream with pleading till he mkes them again. So make one yourself from the plans he gave to us on here or send some money down to Texas and get one.

Just out of curioisity, I did deconstruct my Power Jelq today. I took the rollars off and then the felt-like material. Inside was some small PVC material that contained like a solid piece of metal holding them round. I was tempted to try and knock the metal out but didn't want to destroy the device just to know what the hell it was made from.

If these tongs used for caning work how would you modify the ends to take the rollars? I figure since a few of you guys have some engineeering ability you could tell us? Particularly something that would hold up well. Not some half-assed shit that I could come up with.

Some guys use the power-jelq in the shower. I have not. I am afraid of getting it wet and messing it up. Any flaws that cause it to get messed up with the wayer on it?

Hey worst case scenario, someone can sell you a used power-jelq or bib hanger. It has been done before.

LOL TT,
I do agree with you on the pricing issues and I would guess it's worth what someone is going to pay. The plastic "rollers" under the foam and rollers you are referring to is the original construction of the canning tool! The ends are not solid through and can be pulled apart enough to insert the larger PVC piping that make up the PJ rollers.
In the case of hiding the tool... I would get a box of mason jars, a PJ (without the rollers) and a paper recipe book on how to make preserves. That would explain the tool. But in reference to the shower... the tool is made to be used in boiling water although there is some rust around the rivet at the pivot joint. But what the hell? at a replacement cost of $4.50 you could easily use it in the shower, dry it off and put some of your oil based lube on the joints as a preventative measure and you should be able to make it last a few years or more :) Only thing I see wrong is the felt like material not keeping it's round shape when wet, it's worth a try though.
What the hell.. I think it's still a great idea for an every day item (well almost every day:)).

I used to have a problem with the foam around the rollers of the PJ, always cracking, then breaking off. In stead of the foam, I went to Home Depot and bought some 5/8 size clear plastic tubing (5/8 is the diameter of the PJ rollers), slipped it over the rollers very snug. The clear plastic tubing I bought is used for water applications, like fridge Ice makers, etc..etc, just so you know wear to find it in Home Depot.

I use Vasoline as a lub for the plastic (formally oil on the foam), then do my PJ session in the shower. It works perfect and the rollers never break. I can squeeze hard to create great pressure. After 250reps with the PJ, by penis looks like a salami hanging between my legs.

teeitup...
i'm also thinking of how to up grade or reather improve myPJ DEVICE..

i tried to use it in the shower, but i thing it 's not as effective ... maybe when i did it i wasn't hard enuff.. but i like to use it kind of dry .. i get a better pull that way and you are correct sometimes i use after i finish taking a shower, leaves the bad boy hanging thick and the head swollen as hell ..i'ts deffinetly worth the $34.00 or so that i paid for it... i'm goint to get that rubber hose at home depot make mine a bit tougher but let me ask you>>

do you slip the rubber hose on top of the existing foam correct ?

let me know... thanks take care guys an have a nice holiday if i cant get on this forum again for a while...

I remove the black foam off of both rollers on the PJ, exposing the off white PVC rollers. The 5/8 clear plastic tubing, fits over the PJ's PVC rollers.

This setup is not as soft as the foam rollers, but you can squeeze and pull pretty good. Especially in the shower using vasoline as a lube. As I said in my previous post, after 250 jelqs, I get a great pump!

Don't get me wrong, I don't squeeze so hard that I feel pain. I just feel you can squeeze harder with this setup, than with the foam that the PJ actually came with. When you squeeze and pull slow, man...you can really see the shaft and head swell as you are moving the PJ up your shaft.

Later.

i also made my own pj, but didn't want to metion it on the board. i kind of felt it would be snubbing the owner/ inventor. but i have no problem with anyone discovering it on their own. i would have ordered it but couldn't do so descreetly. also made my own bib, all day hanger, uli and a now abandoned pumping set-up.

I stumbled across this thread yesterday and read what everyone wrote. Today I went out to find the jar lifter and found it, it was $7. I bought some white pvc tubing and pipe insulator and went home to construct my PJ device. It took me a whole 15 minutes. :)

I then tried it out and was very impressed with how much better it was than manual jelqing with your fingers. I think I still have to get used to it since I kept getting hard while using it. :)

Thank you guys for revealing the PJ secret. :) Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you. :)

What size for the PVC tubing?

I am LMAO! Still can't believe this is a modified jar lifter. To think I nearly purchased 200 for resell purposes. Would of been stuck with them like the technician :)

What do you guys suggest to make the rollers actually roll?

I like the power jelq, but I agree that it cost too much. I bought one and even got extra rollers. Luckily I came upon this web site and now I can make my own power jelq from supplies that I get at Ace Hardware. The handles broke after 5 months of use, and I replaced them with canning "jar lifters". I use 1/2 in. water pipe insulation foam on the rollers.
