View Full Version : Possible to stretch veins too much?

The other night I was stretching and DLDB-ing when I noticed something that made me a bit scared.
When I stretch down, towards my feet, there is a vein on the top of my shaft that gets very hard. I donīt have any pain or discomfort, but it feels a bit like when you tune up a guitar too high - you just wait for the string to snap. But in this this case itīs a vein on the dick and not a guitar string. Ouch! It actually feels like it is this vein and not the ligs that is taking the majority of the load when I stretch, almost like this vein is less flexible or shorter than the ligs. Not sure though.
I did a search and came up with a lot of posts about thrombosed veins but I belive (and hope) this is not it, since I feel neither hard spots/bumps nor pain. The most common place for thrombosed vein seems to be placed closer to the head too and usually on the underside of the shaft. Thrombosing veins also seems to be the result of too intense or too early girth exercises, but I havenīt jelqed or squeezed for weeks because Iīve been focusing on length only. My "sympthom" is just a vein along the shaft that gets very hard when I pull my member.
This is the largest vein on my dick and it has always been the same size as now (the vein, not the dick). It goes all the way from my lower abs along the top of my shaft (slightly to the left) almost the whole way to the head.
Iīm taking some time off from PE until I know what to think of this.
Any input dearly apperciated,

I would say you are very close to a thrombosis and the main dorsal vein is definately something you dont want to fuck up.
Also, you CAN get a thrombosed vein from overstretching it. I did. I also felt they were like guitar strings also. Take care.

Ok Chi, thanks for the advice. I will definitly keep my hands away from the old friend for a while then.
Btw, does anyone else, besides me and Chi, experience these guitar string like veins when stretching manually? Just that long hard vein without any pain or bumps.

If I remember correctly....some other guys over at thundersplace were saying the same stuff, so there has to be a handfull of the guitar string complaints out there.

Size....I did some significant damage to my dorsal blood vessel by pulling down and behind my butt too hard. It apparently made a small tear and a horrible blood bubble formed right behind the glans. covered a third of my shaft. I immediately applied ice.....over and over again. I actually heard the pop sound when it tore. Wow! that was a close one. It could have been worse. Things are normal now. That was about a year ago. I never do that move any more. I am much more careful these days. You be careful, buddy.

Guys,
thanks for the input. MXL, that must have been a rather terrible experience, glad to hear that you healed up ok.
I have to admit that I feel a little down because this damn vein thing. It makes me wonder how and if I will be able to continue PE...I mean, this vein - and not the ligs - is obviously what limits my stretches at the moment. What if itīll always be like that? How the hell could ever I stress the ligs if my dorsal vein takes the force before my ligs?
Sorry about the negative attitude, but PE-things was finally starting to take off for me and now this happens...

I have also noticed this while doing a certain type of DLD blasters(I wrote about it in the blaster thread). I was exited at first because I thought I was really putting pressure on my ligs until I realized it was my veins. If you are having trouble with this I would suggest stretching behind the legs or something while erect, at the sime time doing reverse kegels. Also maybe try stretching while flaccid more straight out or up. Basically find what works for you that doesnt put to much strain on those veins. The lig cutting surgery seems to work without having to worry about the veins, so I think there are ways to get around this. Just dont get discouraged and be careful.
good luck

dickgrow,
thanks for the tips and support. Very good point about the surgery, never thought of that. Iīll hope I can work my way around this crappy vein, but for now, Iīll just stay clear from stretching for a while.
Take care,

Sizemoore, how bout stretching just to the point of hitting the vein safely until it catches up with your ligs, then hitting them all at the same time? Veins stretch too, just be sure to stay at the safety threshold for your limiting factor... And keep your damn chin up, it's not a problem, it's a challenge :) Go conquer the fucker :)

RB,
thanks for the support man. This vein is so weird. Itīs soft and normal when I donīt stretch, but the more I pull, the harder it gets.

My dorsal vein was really tight a few weeks ago. I just did manual stretching with more focus on a direction that gave me a good stretch on the vein. I tried to stretch frequently throughout the day whenever I had privacy. Using a ruler I estimate it to be about 1cm across and it only took me about 2 weeks to have it reach the point that I could stretch any direction comfortably. Previously, this vein used to be tight enough that it would actually cause my erection to aim slightly left.

Man! That is exactly how my dick behaves! I have always had slightly lefty erections - so maybe a stiff/short vein is the reason..?
Could you please expand a little more on exactly how you solved your problem with the vein, cause Iīm not sure I understood things right. You intentionally stretched the vein to make it adapt?

I have been doing a routine that consists of just manual stretches. I had been straight out and straight up, but when DLD unveiled the blasters I tried them and it hurt to pull downward due to my vein. I started focusing on pulling my penis toward the right, trying to stretch my vein. I just pull at about a 45 degree angle to towards my right and vary the degree that I pull downward. Just keep putting tension on the vein but keep it light and do it frequently throughout the day rather then one hard workout.

I do manuell foreskin stretching only, because I want it back :-)
I noticed this dorsal vene too. It ist normal. Every vene you stretch will get hard. Of course you should not stretch it too much.
This vene is in your foreskin. Maybe you stretch more your foreskin than your ligs while stretching.
Maybe you should try another stretching technique which concentrates more on your ligs.
