View Full Version : How much weight?

I've been PEing for 3 months now, and while things look thicker, they aren't looking any longer. Length is my main concern - I'm starting at 4 inches non bone-pressed, 5 1/2 inches bone-pressed (time to go on a diet I guess). Flacid is pathetic - I don't even bother to measure that.

I have a bib hanger, but haven't used it much. How much weight does it really take to add significant length? I recently ordered "the Grip" one-pound stretcher b/c it can be worn under pants - my idea is to maintain some tension during the day, and then do some serious hanging in the evening (in addition to jelqs, etc...). Or should I hang the heavier wieghts in the morning, then use the Grip to keep it extended during the day. I'm aiming for 8 inches bone-bressed - is this out of the question for me? Any other suggestions for adding length fast? Thanks!

Don't go overboard, it's not worth it to hurt yourself.... Just got back from the company xmass party and am three sheets to the wind but take it easy and you will gain.......

Hey bomber,

If you have never hung before you can start off with light weight. It is all a matter of how much you "feel" the stretch. I started off with 3lbs and could really feel the stretch. Then I slowly increased a pound at a time.

So, if I understand what you're saying, it's not the amount of weight that's important, it's the quality of the stretch? That's good - I'm only hanging a couple of lbs now, and was worried I was wasting my time. I'll have to add the DLD blaster method to my hanging, too.

Exactly! The 1st 1" I gained was mostly from under 10lbs.

I've been searching the archives tonight, and can't find anything on all-day stretching. As I mentioned, I plan on using the Grip to stretch all day (I have an office job with long hours, so if I could stretch at work, it would be most convenient) Does anyone have suggestions for all-day stretching?

Yes therabrand would make a great ADS sysytem. It is wriiten about on Thundersplace.com and even has a tutorial there so you can see a movie example or clip. I think all together your looking at under $5.00

Basically some tape, threabrand in like 2 strips, and an old thrift store belt to tie it against, maybe some light t-shirt material or even a baby sock too.
