A recent thread about lubricants (sorry I can't find it to reference) got me thinking about something I have been wanting to improve upon. My jelq/squeeze sessions don't allow adequate privacy to get a good warmup, which I think has lead to bruising and spotting. I especially notice it after taking a 2-day break and starting back up. So, I got some tiger balm and blended it with with my normal lube (light petroleum jelly or albolene) at about 1 part tb to 3 or 4 parts lube. If you've never used tiger balm, be careful, as it is very strong and can burn your skin. The pharmacist told me that it is essentially a vaso-dilator, which has the effect of increasing blood flow and subsequently reducing pain. I haven't noticed any loss of sensitivity due to any analgesic effect. So, these are the things I've noticed in just one week's use:

1. I got (and still get) an almost instantaneous erection when I applied it.
2. My balls burned somewhat but my penis didn't.
3. Within seconds I noticed increased circulation and warming.
4. My skin color looked better than normal, more flushed.
5. My erect size and girth were better.
6. I haven't had as much problem with spotting and I think that older spotting is actually going away. I think massage to specific areas is effective.
7. I don't seem to be having as much of a donut effect from sqeezes due to the improved circulation.

This seems to me to have alot of promise for getting rid of spotting on a long term basis. The improved circulation also makes me think that overall tissue health may be better and recovery will be faster. Will this aid in faster growth? I don't know, but I'm hoping I won't be walking that fine line between being too aggressive (injury) and not aggressive enough (no growth). I will update after another week, hoping the positive effects continue.

Have others experimented with vaso-dilators in lube and have you experienced similar benefits?

Interesting experience? Once this stuff is absorbed into your skin, can it's residue be washed off? Particularly if the opportunity for unplanned sex arises?

Also, have you ever tried this stuff without the lube (I rarely use lube to pe)? Is it as effective or does it burn more?

Where can this stuff be purchased?

There doesn't seem to be very much residue. It absorbs well, but I normally shower sometime later in the day anyway so any residue would be removed then. It does have a fairly strong vaporous odor, but it is pleasing. That too seems to go with showering. I wouldn't want to ingest it directly.

You wouldn't want to use it solely as a lubricant, though you could just rub a dab on to get the effects. It is fairly thick (waxy) and also expensive, but it is very strong. An 18 gram tub (1-inch cube) costs about $5 at the pharmacy, but the package says it is available in sizes up to 225 grams. There is also a "non-staining regular white" formula. It is normally used to treat injuries or loosen stiff joints, no pun intended.

The active ingredients are listed as menthol and camphor, with other ingredients such as cajeput oil, dementholized mint oil, clove oil, cassia oil and paraffin petrolatum. I have not researched any of these ingredients but I might and I'd assume you could get these ingredients and prepare your own concoction for cheaper, or select what works best for you.

I also tried using Tiger Balm as some guys suggested, however I could not find any advantage to it. Maybe I was too careful appying it because hurts like f*ing HELL when even a slight amount if it gets onto the glans! Use too much of it, and you will feel like the respective body part is being burnt off.

I rubbed some of it on my cheeks (I had a cold), like the user's manual suggested, and found myself stumbling blindly and crying into the bathroom, carefully trying to wash the stuff off my face without getting it into my eyes. Probably I am too anxious to apply workable amount to my penis now.

I mix a small amount of tiger balm with (aprox) a table spoon of bag balm.......work that on to my penis then add albolene. The tiger balm works very well for me. Definitely helps keep the circulation going well.

I did use too much the 1st time I tried it, and OH MY GOD it burned. Had to stop jelqing and run to bathroom to wash it off. If you use a very small amount (just a tiny bit on the tip of my finger), and mix it well before applying it works well.

Ok, thanks for the info. I will give it another try. Judging from what it is supposed to work like, tiger balm must be the perfect PE helper.

Based on seanjacobs' experience, I bought some Tiger Balm to try. I first tried Tiger Balm by mixing in a little bit with my regular lube--Albolene. I found it to add a "cool warm feeling" rather than a burning feeling to my dick. Initially, this seemed to help with the vasodilative effect that others have talked about, and seemed to expand the tissues; however, towards the end of my workout I noticed that the "cool feeling" seemed to make my dick want to be more flaccid. As I fluffed to get semierect again, it seemed to me that my dick was getting dangerously close to blowing a load. It was definitely an extreme edging sensation. In fact, when I was in the post-workout, cock ring phase of my routine, I did blow a load.

I tried Tiger Balm again, this time completely following seanjacobs' prescription of mixing a little bit of Tiger Balm with a teaspoon of Bag Balm, then adding Albolene. The results were essentially the same as the first time, including the unwanted blown load at the end.

This morning, I went back to straight Albolene. I felt that I had much better control over flaccidity and my snake had a nice warm, under control sensation for the duration of a 45 minute jelq and squeeze session.

In the past, I have added Bag Balm to Albolene to perk up a drooping dick mid-workout and have had good results with that. Bag Balm adds more of a "warm" sensation while Tiger Balm gives me a "cool" sensation. Of course, your results my vary. Just wanted to chime in with a different opinion.

I was at Vitamin Cottage today and noticed they had a large selection of Tiger Balm products. Think there was 3 different types on the little round containers, there was an oil lintement (sp?) and even a tube of Tiger Balm ointment.
