Just had a question for those of us PE'ers who have been at the game for a while and have tried different rest day patterns.

Do you think its best to have consecutive rest days? For example if I'm doing 5 days a week, actually do 5 days and then rest for 2 days, or do something different, such as 3 days on, 1 off, 2 on, 1 off?

Which has given you the best gains?

Usually, I do a 5 days on, 2 days off routine. Lately, that's been workin for me.

I work out Monday, Tuesday, Wednsday, Thursday and Saturday, taking Friday and Sunday off. After every third week, I take one week off.

This schedule has helped me both physically, allowing for recovery, as well as mentally. I just feel the need to take this time off because I found that if I didn't, then my workouts would suffer because I wasn't into it at all.

Once my break is over, I'm quite ready to start up again.

Yup. I used to do a three day a week thing. Mon-Wed-Fri for five months. For my sixth month, I have upped this to 5 consecutive days per week, M-F, weekends off. I am considering doing a "stagger" type of routine consisting of 5 days in a row one week, followed by 2 days off. Then the next week do 4 days consecutively, with 3 days off in a row. Third week is back to the 5 day work week. Nothing is set in stone though. I'm "instinctual" about the training. If I'm feeling into it, I'll do more. If my cock is feelin' worn out, I'll slather on some lotion and take a break for a couple of days. After that second week at 4 workouts in a row, my dick was feelin' kinda worn out. But after I took off for three days, it really made a difference. Everything feels good now, and I'm about to go ahead with another 5 day week.

I would say to jelq until you really need a break, then take a good long rest, like three days minimum, maybe four. You will feel refreshed.
