View Full Version : Reverse Keggle (Kegel? however you spell it)

Just checking in to see if I got the Reverse motion down here.
The reverse motion is the flexing of the PC muscle that will make you go pee harder right?
So... if I were to to a reverse Kegel (Keggle?) I would be forcing to go pee? I am guessing I do this after I have gone to the bathroom right? hehe
Also... will you be flexing your abdominal muscles while doing a reverse kegel?
Reason why I'm asking is because I was looking at one of the DLD routines... the one where you lay down and stretch, then work the PC muscle at the same time... and sit and stretch and then work the PC, and so on... Should I wait until a few months go by before working this DLD exercise or what?

I think it is VITAL to work your PC muscles early in your program so start now and make it a habit early. Doing The DLD Blaster exercise is a great way to exercise your PC and work on length.

But doing the reverse kegel... would that make your abdominals flex or not? Because when I try to reverse kegel, my abs get tight and it's almost like straining to fart... I'm confused on the reverse kegel :(

I too am kind of confused about the RK, I seem to be able to do it sometimes, and other times nothing happens. I guess I just need more practice.

Practice is the perfect word. It took me a bit of time to get it and I too experienced the "sometimes I can, sometimes I can't" deal. Practicing while deficating is a gross but very thorough way to hit it.

when I do the reverse kegels...my abs tighten - as well, a couple times a dribble of whiz came out - is this indicative of doing them correcly?...I push out like I'm trying to whiz accross the room...

Okay I guess I am doing them right then. Things I've noticed (DLD let me know if this sounds right since you've reached jaw dropping gains with these):
I noticed while doing the squeeze Reverse Kegel:
1. Lower abs tighten (I've pinpointed that it nails the lower abs more than the upper abs).
2. My ball sac looks like it gis inflating upward and outward. I do these Reverse Kegel's sitting on the edge of my bed and my balls/scrotum definately move up and out... sorta like it's inflating (but I think the muscle is just pushing everything up and out).
3. Urge to go to the bathroom increases. Yes, I've dribbled a few drops of piss come out sometimes. I've also released a few farts (little ones) doing this (yeah yeah sick I know, but I guess that's how a R.K. works?

I thought Kegels involved the muscles that stop the pee. IS there something I'm missing here? If so, what are reverse Kegels good for?

I'm under the impression that it will give you a better stretch. If you're stretching and do a normal kegel- don't you notice how your dick is kinda being pulled back... the opposite way in which you're trying to stretch it. Reverse kegels will do the opposite- they will allow you to stretch w/ out that 'pull back' a regular kegel will give you.
But... when I stretch after taking a shower everything is relaxed anyways down there. So I get the same effect if I just relax as a reverse kegel would give. But that's just me- everyone's different.
