do you judge your jelq sessions by:
the number of reps, ie "i'll do 200 jelqs"
time ie "i'll jelq for 30 mins", or
until you feel "worked" ie "i think ive had a good session i'll stop now.

I'm still trying to figure this one out. I judge it on how my dick feels. Usually I feel "worked" after a half an hour of jelqing. I pay more attention to time than reps. If I'm really "in the mood" that day, I'll go for like 45 minutes. A really good session is when my dick looks bigger afterwards than it did last session. If it has been at least a half an hour when that happens, then I'm good with time and feel.

If I stop when I feel worked, I don't think I would get a good workout. I have found for me, 45 mins is the minumum time I should spend for a good workout. I usually start feeling worked at about 20- 30 mins, but I push myself to 45 mins. I used to stop at the 20-30 mins, but never seemed to get any gains that way. Just like you have been saying latley SJA, we must push past what are bodies are saying, there is a fine line between injury and a good workout, but as I get to know my body, it usually can take alot more then I inicially thought.

someones paying attention to what i say, and applying it to their routine??? im so happy. :)
but yeah, that line is very fine indeed, in the last week at least twice ive felt pain and let go straight away (streching) im sure that if id have pulled harder i would have torn something. gotta be careful with this pe lark.

I try and go for 1000 jelqs. I start feeling worked around 600 jelqs and push myself to finish. If I can make it to 600 jelqs without blowin' my load then I'm pretty much home free. So I don't do time trials; I go for quantity. I go for a thousand no matter what the time. Usually though that'll take 'tween 30-40 minutes, I guess I still do the time.

i can see what people who go by time or reps mean, as it gives them something to shoot for, so they know not to stop before a certain point, but i like to think i know when i have reached a point where i am no longer helping myself, no longer feeling the stretch or the pump, i go a bit longer then stop.

I do this too. I superset aome DLD Bends and Uli's or horses at every 100 but my final goal is 700 - 1000 jeqs. Time always varies.

How do you guys keep track of your reps? Do you stop and put a mark down on a notepad after every 50 or 100 reps? Just curious...I know when I first started jelquing a ....shit three years ago, I would count reps. Then, when I progressed up to the 500 jelq per workout mark, I got tired of losing count and just started going by time. I would try to get that engorged/pumped up look before I quit if I hadnt hit it by 30 minutes I'd go for 45 sometimes a full hour.
