Which way is a better way to see if you are getting gains, bone pressed erect length or flaccid stretch bone pressed length?

i think that fsbp is the better way of tracking growth but many (myself included) view this as cheating, because few people elbp is as big as their fsbp, people prefer to track how big their dick is when its needed.

i personally track both, but pay more attention to elbp.

When accuracy is impotant to tracking gains IMO the only way to measure is FSBP. Any other method has too many intigers that may skew the measurement (ie. arrousal, erection firmness, glan fluxuation) but when measureing completely flaccid stretched from the bone will always give a true reading. I have a longer erect size than Flacid stretched, I think this is mainly due to my head almost doubles in size when I get an erection. SO the FSBP has a double edged sword when you take this information into the picture.

My take on it:

What do you define as a gain? Does a gain in flacid stretched length really even matter? I don't have sex when I'm flacid. You may measure a gain in flacid stretched length, but you're really doing PE for a gain in erect length. Unless you can duplicate a gain in erect form, you haven't accomplished your true goal. Even if you think it's due to lack of arousal, etc., you need that gain to show up in erect form before you declare victory.

Of course, I'm not a PE pro and I haven't gained much of anything. DLD knows what he's talking about.

For the record, I have always measured EBPL, for the exact reasons Christoff stated, however, there have been times when my erection didn't seem up to the task come the designated measuring day. Therefore, I now only measure every three months, and only on days when my erection doesn't feel lacking.

whlie it is true that most have differences between fsbpl and bpel measurements. I like bpfsl as an early indicator of gains. it also has the least varibles and hence the best way to judge gains over an interval. the quality of a self induced erection is variable and probably a real sexual erection may get closer to the bpfsl than we realize. I have notice this and Drgmerlin has actually measured a difference. what I do is measure both currently my bpfsl is 1/2" longer than bpel. Being consistent and properly understanding the implications of each type of measurement is of great value. (btw, I will never find it since this was 15 years ago, but I remember a lecture where papaverine induced erections were very close to bpfsl).

I don't know what the hell that is, but it sounds kinky. I'm up for it :)

I have a difference of about 1/2" as well. I do my girth work just below the point of know return, then a quick clamp off. The erectin difference at this point for me is phenomenal...

Luvdadus, have you ever measured a viagra induced boner to see how it compares to you BPFS? I would be curious to know how they compared...

Yes they are about the same as the best bpel I can manage.(1/16 to1/8" longer than my "official" numbers).

I checked again this morning and my EBL is longer than my FSBL. The extra length seems to come from the head getting bigger with an erection.

I have gotten into the habit of measuring at the point the shaft meets the glans. This way no matter what minor variations in size my head might be experiencing, I have a fairly accurate benchmark. I realize the hope is that the head will grow as the shaft lengthens but for me this seems best. I appreciate any opinions.

To track gains, in other words, to see if I'm moving ahead in length, I measure bpfs. To see if I've made any new size gains, I measure bpel.
