What is a ball zinger and what is it used for? I heard that there was a picture on Tom Hubbard's web site, but I could find it. Does anyone have the link? Thank you!

when two pieces of differant metals are connected via a liquid a potential differance (voltage) is induced through the liquid, i think it is most common to use copper and zinc, basically get a small cylinder of each metal, and fill two short rubber tubes with water, and link the two bars so they make this sort of shape:

__
(__)

where the () are rubber tubes filled with water and the ___ are copper/zinc bars.

i dont really know what its for, running electricity through your bollocks doesnt sound like something i wanna try, theres some thread on it over at www.thundersplace.com

Yeah, I've heard a lot about ball zingers, but nothing about why people use them. The voltage of a 9v battery couldn't really damage anything, but I also don't understand why it would be good.
