I just started PE a few days ago and here is my beginner's routine. I start at a little over 6" BPEL and 5" EG.

10 min. Hot Wrap
10-15 min. Stretches (right, left, up, down, out)
10-15 min. Jelq
300-500 Kegers throughout day.
5-10 min. Stretches again at night
5 Days per week.

I will measure once a week.

What do you guys think about this routine? My goals are 8x6. I also was wondering what a DLD Blaster is...I keep reading about them, but they aren't in the glossary and nobody has really explained them. I'll keep searching though.

Just found out what a DLD Blaster is. I need to familiarize myself with the reverse kegel before I can do those, but I understand the principle now...just took a while to find the thread.

Welcome to the boards! That routine sounds fine for about 3 weeks I'd say. Then tack on 5 minutes to each routine. 300-500 kegels is a lot... I only do like 100 a day- once in a while I hold a regular kegel for a minute, or I will try to pee in spurts which is just using the kegel technique to cut off going pee like every 2 seconds. But there's nothing wrong with doing kegels, the more the better I say- I wish I did them more! You'll notice they work when you can hold a kegel for 20 seconds without even trying!

I suggest you do the JAI routine (check out thundersplace.com it's over there) for a beginner stretch routine instead of the DLD blasters. Do the DLD's after 3 weeks. I am almost two months completed with PEing 5 days a week and I cannot get the rhythm of 5 seconds kegel 5 seconds reverse kegel stretch harder for 50 times. I just can't get that rhythm down at all... so I just hold an "A" stretch for like a minute for 15 minutes (so 15 long A stretches) Make sure you rotate your wrist when you do an A stretch though- that's the key (I learned that the hard way).

As a PEer for 2 months I can tell you here's what has happened to me:

1. My dick is a darker color. If I wrap it around my wrist like a wristwatch then it looks like I have a suntan on my dick while my arms are not tan. I like the darker color and if I ever find myself a girl and we get physical- I'm sure the darker color would draw attention :D The darker color is from Jelqing. You should notice a darker color within the first week or two of jelqing- ESPECIALLY right after you're done!

2. My erections are harder and I have more "control" over them. Kegels help here as well as jelqing- since the erectile tissue is rejuvinating and repairing itself from Jelqing.

3. Marshmellow effect. Basically it looks like someone stuffed a big marshmellow behind my dick's head. I haven't heard anything negative about this effect except people think it's wierd. I think it's cool- so now I have a tan dick with a not- so- average shape to it.

As far as actual numeric gains- I don't think I gained any... I'll measure in July :fingers crossed!!!!!!!!:

Do those effects go away once you stop PE? For me, it's just about getting around 8" - 8.5" so I have a dick that is in the top 5% and girls will be impressed. I don't want to go much beyond that and I don't want poor shape or discoloring. I can deal with minor changes, but don't want anything permanent in the long run.

I will look into the JAI routine. The kegels I have been doing usually have been quick contractions so that is why I get so many. I don't hold it for more than a second, but I will experiment with longer holds. I'm probably going to add some zinc to my diet too as I read it increases cum output.

I did have a question about jelqing. When I jelq, sometimes I feel like the head is about to explode so I let the blood out real quick and start over. Is this bad? I'm just worried about overdoing it at first and I get worried when the head gets real big and full of blood. Also, how hard do you squeeze on jelqs and why take 3 seconds for a jelq? I had been doing them quicker and I'm trying to focus on slowing down to make sure I have good form. Is there any other reason for 3 seconds?

Also, I am uncut so when I stretch, I have to hold the dick tight so I'm not just stretching skin. I just wanted to make sure I was stretching right by holding it tight and pulling in whatever direction. If you have any specific advice for uncut members on stretching, please let me know.

everything looks good to me, apart from the measuring once a week may be too often and you may become discouraged when you dont see instant gains.

i measure flaccid weekly because it fluctuates so much, but only do fsbpl, eg, and elbp once every four weeks. some people only measure every 3 months. others measure when they think theyve grown.

the discolouration is what i would call semi-perminant, in time most of it will go, as for the wierd shape that wt282 described i dont think ive experianced anything like this.

Dave the shape I am talking about is called the doughnut effect I believe (or donut effect however you spell it). Some get it, some don't. I get it, but it's not an all the time thing. Stretching intensely AFTER jelqing leaves me doughnut effect free. I didn't mean to scare you or think you'll have a wierd shape or anything like that, because it's not the case. Good Luck!
