When I pull my penis out away from me, I get a taught band just under the top (dorsal) surface. This could represent an extension of the ligs that continue through the entire length of the penis, or it might simply be that since mine curves upwards, this is the shortest side, and thus the first area to receive stretch. Please reply and tell me if you get the taughtness in the same location, a different side, or an even distribution throughout. Please also state if your penis has a curve (in what direction) or is it a straight shaft. My personal feeling is that in stretching/hanging, the length increase comes from the tissues of the penis itself and not from protrusion of 'internal penis'. If the latter were the case, then those with huge gains such a DLD and Bib should not longer have any internal penis. And as the urethra still needs to connect to the prostate and bladder, then either the internal penis is going to have to stretch itself, or it would disconnect and you could not longer urinate or ejaculate. If something actually has to stretch, then I vote that the external penis does so. And if I am right, it might be important to know what area gets stretched so as to isolate it.

Corpus, read this thread and your eyes will be opened... :)

Basically, lengthening of your ligs allows more internal penis to protrude. However, there is a finite limit to these gains. Further gains come from stretching of the tunica, the tough fibrous sheath that lies just below the skin and encircles the corpus cavernosas.

I'm still skeptical. Question is when you tug do you get taut evenly, or just along the doral side?

Depends entirely on the angle you are pulling at. Different pulling directions stress different areas of the shaft. It is also entirely possible that there are parts of your shaft that are not as stretched as others, and they can become your limiting factor until you stretch them enough to catch up with the rest of things.

With me it doesn't matter what direction I pull. I can feel the tight band only along the top side from base to glans. Again, curious to know if this goes along with my upcurve (the shortest radius and thus the first side stretched), or if this is a ligamentous extension that we all share.

I also have an upward curve that has been maintained over 15 months of pe with good gains.

Sounds like your ligs. In order to stretch them, make sure you concentrate on downward right, left and middle stretching. Don't worry, they will eventually lengthen as you gain.
