My doc, who knows I PE, once told me the hotwrap used to warm up before excercises is very bad for your testicles and sperm production. Hot water kills sperm cells.

Taking a hot bathtub for instance reduces sperm count by 1/5th, he says. So you can only take a bath once a week, taking a shower is better. (Sperm count increases only days after you took the hot bath).

So when you apply a hotwrap, you touch your balls with very hot water, which amounts to the same as taking a bath.

Since we PE-ers work out every day, hotwrap included, I'm beginning to worry about our sperm quality.

Are you currently trying to have kids?

Because as far as I know, these effects are only temporary.

I'd like to know this as well. Whenever someone hot wraps there balls will always be hotter. Let's say you do this twice a day is there any chance of permanent damage?

Heat induced sperm dysfunction is reversible. The testicles are sensitive enough to temperature that your body has an autonomic response to temp--this is why your testicles get close to your body when it's cold and drop when it's hot.

Sperm take about three months to mature, so the reversibility is not immediate, but spending a couple of minutes hot wrapping is not going to reduce your sperm count--I'd still wear a condom!

BTW, I'm a physician, for what it's worth...
