View Full Version : Just completed my first workout...a few questions

Actually, I'm doing the kegels as we speak, but I've completed the stretch/jelq portion of the workout laid out by DLD in my other thread.

Anyway, I THINK I'm doing this right but I want to make sure.

I did the stretches...never felt any pain but I did pull until the point where I felt like I had pulled my ligs taut...like, it felt like my ligs tightened up when I stretched, is this what I'm looking for?

I just completed the jelqs...managed to maintain 70-80% erect throughout this. I followed the instructions I've read on jelqing everywhere...but I was a little unclear on one thing, I'm supposed to squeeze harder as I move from the base towards the glans, right? Anyway, after this exercise my dick felt a little on the numb side, but the feeling passed...right now I feel slightly "tired" down there but nothing at all painful. Are there any telltale signs so that I can know for sure that I was doing the jelqs correctly?

Thanks for the help...hopefully I am doing things right to maximize my gains.

Oh, and one other thing - my veins have never been too prominent down there, but towards the end of the jelqs there was one vein in particular that became a bit more visible...good sign?

Damn...just measured out of shear curiosity and I think I may already have gained maybe an 8th of an inch...I'd been measuring a lot the past few days and consistently topped out at 4.25" erect...just measured and was actually over that mark...maybe 4.35"? Obviously nothing substantial (still pathetic size-wise LOL) but hell, I'll take anything even if this is probably related to increased blood flow and whatnot from earlier exercises. My goal is 6" by the end of the year. (and I don't have access to a tape measure so I'm not positive on my girth size, I've estimated somewhere around 4")

So does anyone have any feedback from my first post in this thread on whether or not I did hte exercises correctly?

for inspiration, read this post, then back up and read the entire thread.

Wow, thanks for posting that...that actually sounds exactly like me so I can really relate. I can only dream of getting up to the 6" plateau within 3 months...

CollegeGuy, I am happy the routine is working out. From your description everything sounds perfect. After you become comfortable wqith this routine we can add some variation. I am looking forward to you 6" plateu! 3 months? we will do it in 2.

Actually I do have one question/minor problem - this wasn't so big of a deal yesterday but today I had a bit of trouble getting a good grip while doing the stretches, any suggestions? There really isn't enough there to be able to do the A Stretch, dual fulcrum, V stretch, etc. How would you recommend I fix this? I still completed the stretches and felt they were beneficial but I think I could be getting more out of this if I could get a better grip. THanks.

Collegeguy06,

First of all welcome to PE. Your starting stats are similiar to mine, and I hope you hit that 6" size soon, its a great feeling when you finally do.

Starting out small I couldn't even get my hand grip around my whole shaft to stretch. I had to use my thumb and index finger as my grip. Slowly I was able to add my middle finger into the grip, and over time I was able to get my whole hand around my shaft for stretching. Today I can get 2 hands around the shaft while strecthing.

I never did any A, V, or Dual Stretches when I was that small. In your situation, if you have some room on your shaft, you could try pressing down, using your other hand with just a finger or two. And press upwards for the A stretches.

Like Yguy, I started out small, I was 5x4. Today I'm just under 9 by 5.5. Keep the faith :)

Once you have a good base measurement to start from, avoid the ruler like the fucking plague until at least a month. Measuring every day will drive you insane. I measure on the same date every month, for consistency.

collegeguy, this is ok, like the others said the time will come for those stretches. For now stick with the stretching routine I gave you. You can start to practice the DLD Blaster theory when doing basic stretching so you will be very rehersed in the movement when you hit your initial length gains.

DLD, RB, or YGuy (or anyone else for that matter), am I going to need to use weights at some point to really see gains in length, or is stretching going to be enough for me (at least for awhile). Right now I just don't have the money to buy Bib's hanger (and I dread the thought of trying to make my own, this is coming from someone who had trouble passing shop classes in junior high and I don't really want to mess with this without knowing what I'm diong). I will probably have the money eventually but not for at least a few months. So for the time being would stretches (and eventually blasters) be enough to see substantial length gains?

That is OK. You do not need any equipment or money to get started. Manual exercise is very powerful if done correctly and gains have come to many men, myself included, using strictly manual methods. Over time as you get the money grab a Bib Hanger, they are a great product. Until that time stretch away!

If you have the time, privacy and equipment, hanging is great. Since I lack 2 out of the 3, I got all my gains with my hands alone...

Actually I should have the time and privacy when I go back to school...if I hang while studying/writing papers and stuff, privacy won't be an issue since I prefer being alone while doing this anyway...how much time per day is usually devoted?

Typically, from 1-8 hours :)

If hanging is seriously in your future, you owe it to yourself to visit the hangers forum over at thundersplace.com...

I'll check it out...I don't plan on "upgrading" to hanging for a while, I'm going to stick to stretches and work up to blasters and see how that goes, but if my growth plateaus I'll probably do the weights thing...

baby powder, talcum powder, latex exam gloves. There are many options.
