OK, today after jelqing (300x2 seconds per DLD's advice) my dick felt pretty numb (I jelqed with higher intensity than in previous days). It's hard to describe exactly but my dick was pulsing pretty rapidly afterwards and I didn't feel like I had a lot of feeling, or control over my erection (70-80% or so but I've never been very good with percentages) for that matter. Now, I'm not worried that I did damage, I just want to make sure I'm on the right track here...I've read this forum forwards and back but I still can't help but wonder if I'm actually doing this the right way. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you feel numb, what you can do after your completely done is grab your flacid cock and begin to move it up and down to regain circulation. Also what might help is to grab your cock and just move it in a circular fashion. Hope that helps

It is my experience that a bit of numbness will follow after a good jelq session, and it makes sense. I mean, you're disrupting the natural blood flow through your penis by repeatedly cramming more blood in it and such...
If you think it is excessive though, I would recommend not doing it so intensely right away, but working up to it slowly over a period of a few weeks. It's just like pumping - if you jump to a high vaccuum pressure right away in one single leap, it will feel uncomfortable and even painful, but if you slowly increase over time, you get used to it.
If it does bother you, though, here is what I do to relieve slight numbness after an intense workout: Use both palms, well lubed with what you jelq'ed with (if you jelq wet, that is), and rub your semi-flaccid penis between, using both hands in a gentle rolling motion, 360 degrees, along your whole penis. Doing this for a few minutes and alternating with a hot-pack inbetween massages always worked for me to get rid of or alleviate numbness, especially in the cockhead.

as a general rule, i try to masterbate a few hours after a pe session to see if i am becoming normally erect, with full feeling, if i am not, i back off a bit. just had to take 2 weeks off due to ED.
are you jelqing palm up or palm down? i remember hearing that palm up jelqing had the potential to damage the nerve (dorsal nerve?) in the penis, causing numbness, people who this happened to had to take a couple of months off from pe, not weeks, if memory serves. but then again, i could be talking bollocks.

I went through that (numbness) doing jelquing palms up, and had to take about two weeks off to get my normal sensitivity back. Since that happened, I've jelqed palms down at the same intensity, and haven't been there again. It was my thumb that was rubbing the dorsal nerve.
Collegeguy,
If you feel the numbness after jelquing but not the day after, I don't think that you need to take any break. Try to jelq palms down, if you aren't. If that's not the case, listen carefully to SuperSlasher...

I jelq palms down...and even when I did feel numb it wasn't anything that led me to believe it was too serious. Haven't felt it the last 2 days. And even when it did happen...it was only like a 20-30 minute thing.
So it seems to be going fairly well, hope to God I notice some gains when I measure again at the end of the month.
