Persistance, pressure and patience- this is what it all boils down to. Those of you who think gains arent possible, or are low on hope, are lacking one of the three aformentioned P's. Value these all at an equal balance, and gains will follow, its only a matter of obsessiveness. All of the guys who have achieved great gains, have probably worked harder than you (the skeptical pe'er) could ever imagine. Some people think working 40 hours a week is slavery, but then you have your business owners that put 120 hours a week in- Its up to you where you stand on this issue. If you want it, you have to work for it, period.

Damn...you sound like my first mentor. I did not want to work as hard as I have but he told me that was the way to make gains. He was right.

Exercise, exercise, exercise there is no substitute. Totally agree with the 3 Ps, you will only get out what you put in. Visualization will help, but there is no other way then to do the exercises.
