Has anyone here done the Atkins diet and noticed any dedrigation to their erection stength or PE?

Does it have an impact? I would like to try and find out as I know this diet is a large intake of Fat and little carbs. I would have thought that a lot of vital vitamins are missing and was wondering if they can be obtained from a multi vitamin intake?

Your comments are appreciated.

Thanks

One sure thing is that there will be les of a difference between your BP and NBP erect measurements due to the fat loss.

I have lost over 35 lbs on South Beach, which is another way of greatly reducing the "bad" carbs in your diet. The only real impact I have noticed is a huge difference in the fat pad. I gained between 5/8" and 3/4" NBP due to fat loss.

I haven't noticed negative effects on erections. Then again I take a multivitamin supplement every day and sometimes an extra zinc, C, and a sexual health supplement. If you're doing Atkins my suggestion would be to try to stick to leaner meats as much as possible and cook only with olive or canola oil. Eat all the vegetables that you are allowed (and like to eat).

luvadus,
It's apparently a book. Google search turned up that and a website or two. Search for "south beach diet".

Yes, the South Beach diet. Originally designed by a cardiologist solely for patients at risk for heart problems.

The South Beach Diet is just the Atkins Diet with rich-bitch foods thrown in and marketed to dipshits who drive SUV's.

Yeah as for supplements, you need to take vitamins & minerals while doing the Atkins Diet. Your body becomes depleted of certain things such as potassium, magnesium, calcium, etc... while dieting this way. Read up on it to find out which exact combo you need to take. The Atkins Diet is the best diet, if you can stick with it and not lose your mind.

"The Atkins Diet is the best diet,"

For what/whom/when/why???

I donīt agree, and any diet relying on supplements is unnatural and "unhealthy" by pure logics IMO.

yet another old post, but......

you won't get the same benefits from otc suppliments that you can get from eating healthy fruits and vegetables that aren't allowed on the atkins diet. yeah, apples may have carbs and natural sugar which are bad but it, and most other fruits and vegetables have antioxidants and enzymes and all that other common sense healthy stuff like vitamins and minerals that absorb into your body more efficiently and in a healthier way than suppliments. i also refuse to believe that you can take a sausage, wrap it in bacon, then slather it in butter and still say it's healthier than a slice of multi grain bread.
