I apologize beforehand if any feel like I'm waiting space. I am conscious of how redundant this forum can be. And after reading much of what is on this site, I thought it might be helpful to review what I have learned in a thorough and concise manner. That way all you have to do is say "yep" or correct me if I'm wrong (I'm new and I'm already annoyed with how many newbies as "what's milking" and the like) I'm hoping to provide that in a compact way, hoping for confirmation.

Warm up. Warm wrap.
VERY IMPORTANT. DO IT! Use a hot, wet rag, or a sock full of nuked rice. 5 to 10 minutes. This is not a waste of time! Some think that it allows these excersizes to work at all and that without it, you wont see the gains you desire!

Kegels, or PC excersizes.
Do it, do it, do it. VERY Healthy. Increases blood flow. Firmer erections because of it. Ejaculate farther. Tense the muscles you use when you cut off peeing before you're done. They're the same muscles that automatically contract when you ejaculate. Begin with a hundred, work up to 1,000 as soon as you are able (this might be very soon). No one can stress the importance or effectiveness of Kegels enough. If nothing else, do these!


Manual Stretches.
Basically, pull on the thing. WHILE FLACID, grip behind the head and pull in any variety of directions (straight out being the obvious one). Hold for 15-30. Repeat. Vary. One important variation is the "V". While pulling outward with one hand, use the other to raise or depress the shaft, creating a "v" shape. One variation in THIS is to move the "v" hand up and down the shaft so the apex, or the "point" is all along the shaft. So, graphically, you have more of an asymetrical "check mark" than a symetrical "v". This is virtually buried within the newbie section, and seems like it deserves more prominence.

Wet Jelquing, also called milking (right?).
Begin with a lubed(many varieties available),somewhat erect penis. Anywhere from 1/2, to 3/4 erect. Don't do it erect (although some will dispute this), it can cause injury to your penis and its veins. Once somewhat erect use an "ok" grip. That is, put you thumb and index finger together, encircle your penis, this ring should be between your body and your remaining fingers (your pinkie shoud be pointing out, not against your balls). With this grip, firmly restrict your penis, and slowly (1-5 seconds, depending) pull outward until you reach your head. At this point, just before releasing, you begin at the base of the penis with the other hand. repeat, alternating hands as you go. Don't clinch the penis too much when you are starting out. Begin gently. You can restrict it much more in a few weeks. If you avoid running over the head, it'll reduce the chances of getting fully erect. Do kegels with this to inject more blood into the penis.

Single handed jelquing
Jelq stroke with only one hand and use the other to grip around the base of the penis, effectively trapping more blood. Dont go crazy.

Dry jelquing
Haven't gotten that far. I understand this to be jelquing on sections of the penis at a time, not the whole shaft. No lube.

Hanging.
Haven't gotten that far. Not for beginners. Use a device, either purchased or your own make, to hang weight from your penis. Effective and should be taken seriously.

Warning signs.
Stop if your penis is very dark or gray! You should not experience any sharp pains, stinging,etc although a comfortable soreness is expected. Small red dots might come to the surface. These are also expected. Soreness and dots disappear in hours to days. You might also experience some ballooning of the tissue. This leaves in hours.

So how have I done? I've just started less than a week ago and want to verify what i've found scattered throughout the newbie forum. Thanks for the site.

Wish every newbie was like you...

Let me add a couple of things...
When manual stretching you don't have to grab just behind the head, you can try gripping on various areas of the shaft.
The farther away from the head you grip the harder you can pull (no risk of damaging the head) and the stress is put directly on the ligs at the base of your willie where probably most gains are made.

And as to jelquing, you don't have to use that grip with your pinkie pointing out. You can try it with your pinkie towards your body as well.
Try different variations and do what feels good and effective.
Some people prefer it the first way and some prefer the other.

You should feel very welcome to the board.

Yes you have a very good grip on all, like nortical said when you stretch the unit if you can try to grip by the base if you grip by the head don't pull to hard. Also kegals are great but I have found you can do to many and have a tired pc muscle I have found for me 500 a day is the max with 2 days off a week. Good luck

Thanks for the replies. I forgot a couple of points.

The number of Jelqs should gradually increase from 50 to 200 within the first week or two. Once you are at 15 minutes, you can start counting minutes instead of strokes. Step up gradually over the third and fourth week from 15 min to 20, 25, then 30 by the end of the month. 30 min. is a good solid workout. Some would sest 45, some even 60 (although this long is thought by some to be counterproductive).

Uli's.
With the o.k. grip, constrict the penis about half way up the shaft. With the remaining fingers on that hand, progressively add pressure until you reach the last finger. Hold for five seconds or so. release and repeat. Try moving the hand closer to the head. (o.k. grip, then add middle finger, ring finger, then pinkie). Your head will swell up with blood. This excercise targets girth and head size. This is a good one to throw in while you are taking a break inbetween jelqs.

Thanks for the tips about hand position durings stretches, it was really putting too much pressure on my head, and I was getting red spots, stinging, and irregular swellings. I bet this will put an end to that strain and give me a better stretch.

A quick comment. As you jelq for sometime, you'll find you have gained some extra skin. This extra skin, for me anyway, gets in the way of regular jelqing. Now I almost always use my other hand to hold back the skin against my stomach and jelq with the other. Not sure how others feel about this, but I get a better worked out feeling. Good luck.
