Well I've been doing this for well over a year and have permanently gained 3/4 inch erect length. By permanent I mean I took a break for over 2 months and didn't lose any of it. This isn't an earth shattering gain but it is very noticeable and I did it without incident.

With this experience I offer the following advice to those just starting or thinking about starting:

* First of all - read, read, read. Educate yourself to the max before beginning a routine. If you don't, you might injure yourself or simply annoy us with tired questions.

* Start your adventure off right with extensive accurate measurements...
- Achieve your best erection, then while standing up hold your penis straight out, parallel to the ground. Hold a ruler on top of your penis and push it in to the skin at the base of your penis. Throb yourself and see what you've got.
This is your "bone-pressed" measurement. Not everyone will say to throb, but I do. By measuring this way every month you will be comparing your maximum size in a standardized way.
- Again with your best erection, use a flexible tape measure and measure girth at 3 locations: the base, mid-shaft, and at the widest part of the head. You will find this interesting to compare after 6 to 12 months.
- For flacid measurements, measure length and girth several times in a typical day and note the *range*. This will be more meaningful than a snapshot figure of what you measured at one given time. (We all know how much flacid size varies.)

* Understand that PE works, but it takes longer than the average guy is willing to stick with it. Commit to 6 months minimum. I view it as an ongoing endeavor.

* At first, plan on doing jelqs and manual stretching for size, plus kegels for better erections. It is very common for quick gains of a 1/4 inch to come within 1 month. This often occurs because a man's penis might be somewhat atrophied from lack of use. (Think about an old dried up sponge...)

* Expect to get "the spots" when starting out with jelqing and/or manual stretching. Spots result from broken blood vessels and should heal within 2 days. Simply back off until then and use heat of some type to aid in healing. I've had them many times and they have always healed completely.

* Always use a heating pad or equivalent before jelqing or manual stretching. Ligaments and other tissues will stretch easier if warmed up.

* Keep detailed records from the start. Patterns will emerge that you will be able to strategize with. If a routine works, keep at it. If not, change your routine!

* VERY IMPORTANT
Since this will take a long time, make it fun. Learn to multi-task while doing PE (work at the computer, play paddleball etc...) You have to make the process tolerable or you won't stick with it.

* After a month or 2 of manual stretching, consider hanging. It actually offers a more controlled method which can be custom tailored to your situation. Bib's free hanger designs work great for starters and his new hanger is worth far more than the asking price. Not only is hanging more controlled, it free's up your hands for multi-tasking.

That's all for now, I might add some more later.

Good luck!

Great post Alcatraz

I never thought of it as mult-tasking (I should have cause i'm in the software bus.) but while hanging with the new Bib it frees up my arms to do weight lifting and crunches etc.

Hi< sounds like good advice, I am new to this.
What do you mean, "throb" yourself when measuring?
I am trying to get an accurate measurement since I am just starting PE. I tried taking a thin book, sitting it flush @ the base (of what would be the top of my boy if standing), I took a pen and tried to hold it level on top of my head, and making a mark on the book and then measure the book. The results were disappointing compared to using a tape measure and eyeballing the tip of my head. Where exactly should the base of tape be placed?
Thanks in advance.
Any sestions are appreciated.

Yes - good post Alcatraz. I've been away from these forums for a few months but a lot seems to have changed. Seems this LOT theory has revolutionised things somewhat and I'm trying to come up to speed with that now. Hoping it will help me as I'm plateaued right now and have been for nearly a year. Would be good to start gaining again ....

Well guys,

I've looked at my extensive notes I kept from my PE efforts more than 3 years ago and offer this follow up to inspire all of the new guys.

Bottom line:

I still have the 3/4 inch gain that I achieved more than 3 years ago. Not a huge gain, but worth every bit of effort. From my understanding of credible statistics, I went from being around average to being longer than average. Oh Yea Baby!

Details for anyone interested:

Experimented for a week or two, then started officially on 5-1-00. Achieved 3/4 inch erect length gain after 9 months (2-1-01). Continued for one more month then stopped after beginning a relationship with the girlfriend that I still have. That totalled 10 months of serious PE ending on 3-1-01.

Edited correction:

After reading more of my notes, I see that I did continue on, hit or miss, for a total PE career of more than a year. The successful period that I will always remember is as described above.

Interesting side note:

After becoming close with my girlfriend, I responded to a compliment she made about my penis. I stated that I had done "things" to permanently make it 3/4 of an inch longer than it had always been before. Her response was something like this: "Really?! I think that's wonderful!" I felt like some kind of Mad Genius at that point. Later I filled her in on all the details (with the understanding that it was OUR little secret).

Right before typing this follow up, I shared some memories with her about PE and this forum. She smiled and said I was nuts. I then asked her, " Do you regret me doing what I did?" She quickly responded, "Oh no - you reach spots I never new existed."

When you decide to being PE should you also masturbate less?

Not unless you masturbate to excess. Sensible PE should not interfere with your sex life- it should enhance it.

Get-big: The results from penis enlargement are permanent, by one simple explanation: erections!
When PE:ing, you generate new cells in your penis, right? the body keeps maintaining these new cells as long as you get recurring erections. Just stomach capacity keeps being huge until you stop eating so large meals :P
The penis only starts to loose size when you loose your recurring erections (praise your morning erections!). Usually when you've reached old age, or prematurely by stress or amphetamines. So there you go :)
