View Full Version : Should i do only Jelquing?

Someone commented that every jelqer should do hanging and shocking routine for target results. I has only been jelqed for 5 weeks but still not find any gains.

Well to begin with jelqing for 5 weeks is not long enough. It make take 3-6 months. I mean, for most people, it take a while just to get the whole jelq technique thing right and to be able to jelq for at least 30 minutes. However, you will probably start gettting some flaccid gains and become more veiny and muscular looking in a while. You need to include some manual stretching at least unless you are long enough and don't want any length. About your question, what areas do you want to target? There comes a point in life where we all have to make our own decisions. Different people will tell you different things. The best thing is to read all the posts so you can make an informed opinion. People respond differently as well. I personally don't hang or do shock treatments. Other can easily argue that is why I don't have big length gains and maybe so. You have to weigh out risks/potential reward and experiment yourself. Yes hanging might break some barriers for you as well as shocking but I will let the guys who do that comment. I am not convinced even if you were hanging that you would see something in 5 weeks but don't know. These things take time. Change your mentality to the long haul and lifestyle of PE. I do 2 hours a day every other day of manual stretching, jelq, uli, squeese and pump and that is good for me. After that long I don't know how much more I could go for the shock thing. I mean my penis is pretty worn out. But until you decide you should at least do manual stretching. Do this before jelqing.

you right! Mr. dance. only veiny now, but i dont know how to do maul streching. How do you think about hot wrap and should I get day off. i do only jelquing everyday without hot wrap.

Look below in section on manual stretching. Grab the head of your penis and pull. Pull in all directions and hold for something like 30 second sets 4 times. I believe strait and down are most important but still stretch left, right, and up. Make up your own order and routine. Read this section below and other people routines in the personal routine section. I have mine there and there are others that stretch in other ways. Yes I believe hot wraps are important. I used to think they are important for growth but others here said no they grow fine without them. Now I believe they are more for preventing injury and helping with recovery. I don't think a person need a whole 10 minutes. I just do it for a few minutes before and after and it works well for me. Yes you need some rest days. How often you rest depends on the person and the intensity of your workout. I mean how sore you are. So I would think 2-3 days on and one day off is good for now. Maybe as you really become totally intense and work the hell out of it you might rest more often.

So would u say that jelqing isnt any good for gaining length? Im 16 and currently measure about 6x6" but i am more interested in gaining length than width as i already have quite a large width. I have been jelqing for about 4 weeks and have seen some small gains as well as increased flaccid length and vein promonence. Can any1 tell me if im gonna get any worth while length gains from jelqing or do i need something else?

I look at this post and so much has changed since then for me. Well to answer your question no one knows. There are some who have definately gained from jelqing alone. Others like myself basically got nothing from jelqing. Before changing my whole routine around I only got 1/8 inch of girth and not one milimeter of length in 8 months of jelqing, and I tried every variety of method and routine. So my advice is to start doing a little manual stretching before the jelqing and see what happens. If you get results then you are one of those lucky ones and if not then you may need to start hanging. But it will take a while to see something. Perhaps 3-6 months.

well in a month of Jelqing i have seen about 1/8 of an inch gain in length no gains in girth and a little in head girth, even with these small gains would this be a sign that i can gain somehting worth while form jelqing?

Most guys will tell you it takes about 3-6 months to see something. If you are seeing something in a month then of course that is a good sign. What does it mean? Who knows. What is your potential? Who knows. This is unlike anything else and unpredictable. What you need to do is adapt the Nike slogan "just do it." There is only one way to know. Sometimes guys grow in the beginning and then reach a plateau. Sometimes they are regaining lost length or the measuring was not accurate in the beginning. Or they are just getting firmer erections. Just throw in some manual stretching and then add some ulies and squeezes. This does not mean a huge time investment just a few more minutes. I sence you are wanting to avoid hanging, but that does not mean jelqing needs to be your only exercize.

Most of my gains at the start were for Jelqing and manual stretching. Most of the time I was only about 50% erect so the girth gain was minimal but I did get about 1/2 inch in length. This took about 5 months though, so it does not come fast and I put in approx 5 days a week up to 30 minutes a day. So my thoughts and experence are that Jelqing and manual stretches will work. Now at your age you might find that your gains may come faster than average but again we still have no proof. After 5 or more years , this board may have more answers.

Keep working and results will come, but do not rule out hanging as this specifically targets length.

Im not really doing the kind of length of time u r doing when jelqing. I have recently moved up to doing about 10-15mins jelqing about 5-6 days a week but nothing cast in stone for my routine except that i am not very keen on hanging.

i am not circumsized, so i pull the foreskin back the stretch the head but after a while my hand comes off the top of my penis, beacause when i squeeze my head becomes smaller and causes my hand to slip off, is there anyway to prevent this?

I have been on the program for just about 3 mos. I have yet to see any results
