Hi Board,
I'm new to this board as well as PE in general. I just started PE exercises a few weeks ago. I began slowly the first few days, and have gradually increased since. I am currently doing 1/2 hour daily jelq sessions, as well as some manual stretching. I also do 500+ kegels daily, as well as some PC squeezes.
In just this short amount of time, I have noticed an increase in the size of my veins, as well as hanging a little lower in the flaccid state and a lot of loose skin. This is very encouraging to me. I am amazed that I have even noticed any change in just 2 weeks. I really didn't expect any noticable change in at least 2 to 3 months.
I have been experiencing a problem, however. Since I began the exercises, I seem to be having trouble achieving a "hard" erection. I can get to about 80%, and that's about it. Is it hard to achieve a rock hard erection on days that you work out? Has anyone else ever experienced this problem? I did take one day off my first week, and I'm also going to rest today. If anyone has and ideas on this matter, I would appreciate hearing them. I'm sure I probably left out some needed information, so ask away.
I would like also like to thank everyone who participates on this board. It is very helpful and encouraging. Keep up the good work !! IM4

Welcome aboard!

First - YOU NEED TO TAKE REST DAYS. That's my opinion and the opinion of most of the others on this board. I started out with a 1 on / 1 off and have since moved to a 2 on / 1 off. Your schedule should depend on how intense your workouts are. Check the Personal Routines section...

It's difficult for me to get a rock hard erection after a workout. I can get a functional one but it's just not as hard as if I tried after a day of rest.

Congrats on your early progress + good luck,
SMF

Thanks for the advice. I'll take you up on it beginning immediately. My workouts are quite intense. I do hope the added rests will help solve my problem, and I'm sure I speak for my wife also. Thanks again !! IM4

PS: My user name has nothing to do with my age or size *s*.

Glad I could help...

What does your wife think of the whole PE thing?

I just told my girlfriend and she said "Why? You don't need to be any bigger!" I don't believe her - once I said that women would prefer a guy's penis to fill them up as much as possible without pain and she said that's not true - that blew her credibility with me about the whole penis thing right there.

She did think my goal of 8 x 6 was a bit excessive but she didn't complain as much when I said I wanted it to be thicker. She was worried that it might interfere with our normal sex lives (she's in England right now and I'm in the US).

My wife doesn't say a whole lot about the PE I am doing. I told her right up front what I am doing so she doesn't wonder when I disappear once in a while. We are both 40ish, and our sex life has dwindled to about twice a month. I have never been good at lasting very long. With the infrequent sex we do have, I'm usually doing good to last 5 minutes once foreplay is done. I have disappointed her many times. I knew there had to be something I could do from my standpoint to enhance our sex life. I started looking around and found this board. The exercises I found here are just exactly what the doctor ordered. Unlike some of the members of this board, I'm not really interested in making any massive size increases. I have never measured myself, although I think I'm in the 6 inch range. What I'm mostly concerned with is just exercising myself so I can maintain an erection for an extended period of time, and achieve the kind of penile shape required to have great sex. In just 2 short weeks I am greatly encouraged, and this board has given me a new found hope and determination. It's great just to have the opportunity to speak with other members such as yourself who have experience and knowledge in this area to share. I'm sure given a little more time my wife will be a staunch believer in PE, as I am very determined to improve myself. Thanks for all your help. IM4

If you are only haveing sex twice a month then why do you need rock hard erections after PE? Since that is the case just don't do PE on the days you are going to have sex. Maybe you can do it in the morning so at night if you have sex it will be better. On the days I work out yes it is more difficult to acheive a rock hard errection. But my point is, if you are only having sex twice a month why do you need to? I found out that it is really not good to play with it and make it hard if it does not want to after PE. Just leave it alone. It needs rest period. That is why many times I do it at night before bed so for sure I don't mess with it. It is a hard thing to do but sometimes you need discipline to just don't touch it. It will recover better and grow more. I always have sex on Saturday night so I don't work out on Fri or Sat so I will be fine.

Thanks for the honest reply...

Ok, last post then I'll leave you alone...

You said "I knew there had to be something I could do from my standpoint to enhance our sex life."

I say put some of the responsibility on your wife!

Sex just isn't that important to some people - your wife may be one of them. If there's something she wants she should tell you. My g/f is just now getting comfortable telling me what she wants (we've been dating about a year.) When in doubt ask...and try to seem genuinely interested in what she's saying. (I got yelled at once for not 'looking like I was listening' - WTF?)

5 minutes of actual sustained thrusting isn't that bad. If it's been a while, I'm lucky to make it that long. My g/f won't let me slow down if I feel like I need to...

I'm no expert, and I'm sure you already know this, but one of the best ways to make a woman happy is to go down on her. Remember, it's up to your partner to let you know what she likes. (It's up to you to let her know if it's nasty down there ;)

Also, please be careful with the PE stuff (jelqing to vigorously, etc...)

Ok, I'm done with the unsolicited advice. Sorry :)

Good luck,
SMF

Really, if your not interested in making massive size increases as you did mention above, just stick with the P.C. ex.'s. Once the G.D. board is fixed, you will find alot of info there on "erectile aid", be it herbal form or other. Not really that unusual, your situation when it comes to P.E.....often times there are some sacrifices made (sometimes inadvertantly) in the pursuit of size increases and why endure them for an effect (size) that your not really interested in. May go against the grain of this board in some ways, but I really don't think jelquing does much good for improving natural blood flow and erections in general. Really doesn't seem to be anything like the natural flow of blood and other tissue behavior during the erectile process. P.C. are probably reponsible for any erectile improvement I have gained. groaboa
