View Full Version : PE injury possibly?
Hey guys. Ever jelqed in such a way that you get a strange pain in your penis? - kinda sharp. I did this two days ago (continued jelqing but avoid causing myself pain). That night I experienced acute pains in my urethra and the next day had some uncomfortable soreness. The majority of the symptoms have subsequently subsided but I still want to know if anyone else has done/or experienced something similiar and what the prognosis is. Since I'm new to all this, I totally paranoid about the implications and possibilities with regards to penile injury.

I have received a sharp pain from jelqing after like 30 minutes and then when I did the ulies I noticed it again so I stopped. It was in the upper shaft directly below the shaft. Sometimes it is sore there but seems to have gone away and not been a problem. Sounds like you were a little over anxious at first. That is why a person should always start slow. I understand that you were careful and then later you had pain. I have not experienced that. I would take some time off and do some hot wraps, then try again with less intinsity. I guess I may sound like a broken record but safety first and a long term mentality will help prevent injuries and help us be consistent. It is sort of like body building. A smart body builder in the gym, if he feels an unusual sharp pain, will stop instead of being stubborn and hurting himself. If he stops then no problem he can come back next time and make gains but if he gets hurt he is layed up and it is bad. So use common sence and pain as an indicator or how intense you should be. Take some time off start slow and see how it goes.

I've had the same thing a few times and usually adjust in a couple of rest days in my routine right after. If I think back on the exact cause, it was being over zealous with the jelqing. Now I build up the intensity over the entire workout and reduce it when I feel any minor pain and then stay at that intensity. When your hands get a little stronger and you're watching TV and not paying attention to what you're doing, it's easy to overdo it a little. I took as many rest days as needed to stop all of the reaccuring pain. Usually went away in less than 2 days. I think making sure you use heat before hand and not cranking up the AC in the room helps. I haven't had it happen in quite a while now. Good Luck.
