Can somone please help, i know this probably makes me sound like a moron, but no matter what i try, im just not jelqing/milking right. I feel no numbness, no change of color, etc; and im doing it HARD. i think my problem is i dont know how to get a grip on it (figuratively and litteraly), i dont know how hard im supposed to pull. Also, i just dont understand dry milking/jelqing, does one hand always move the skin up, then while still gripping the skin pull it lightly back down, then up again (with just 1 hand)? like milking a cow without letting go of the nipple, just loosening the grip? please somone help me; trust me this isnt a dedication problem, im willing to commit whatever it takes. i just know its not working cause im not getting any of the effects im supposed to recieve. thank you in advance! Dry Jelq use one hand, slice the skin over the shaft repeatedly.

I don't understand dry jelqing either. I can't do that. I believe the guys that do that are probably mostly uncircumcized guys, but I am not sure. I think maybe it is more difficult for uncut guys to jelq with a lube (also not sure about that). Anyway are you cut or uncut? If you are uncircumcized then when wet jelqing pull back the foreskin I guess. If you are cut then it is just a matter of finding the right erection level and applying the right pressure. Ok I can jelq at various levels of erection but the optimum one for me is when it is as erect as possible and still have a hang in it. Does that make sence? Use ok position palms facing out and jelq slowly. If you really want to feel it encircle the whole penis thumb and forefinger and really slowly squeese it out (like 5 seconds). I have told other people it took me a while before I really got the hang of this. Anyway, good luck.

I'm circumcised and I dry jelq. To do it successfully you cannot have erection that is too hard (75% to 100%). The skin needs to be able to slide over the shaft. Try it with a 50% to 75% erection.

Now as to the proper grip. There are several ways to do it but the most important thing to keep in mind is that you should be applying pressure primarily to the sides of the penis where the corpus cavernosa run. These are the tubes that fill with blood when you have an erection and will ultimately determine your length and girth.

Priapus2000, what youre saying makes sense about jelquing the corpus cavernosa. However, what about the suspensory ligament? If it's on the top (which I'm not sure of) it won't be stretched to accomodate...Please advise!

It should stretch the suspensory ligament also, although neither method is the best for that. Try manual stretching before, during or after jelqing to stretch that ligament.
