Hi guys,

first of all, I want to say that this board is really great! I feel this is a great community with very helpful and mostly polite people, which is a rare thing on the internet. Great job, moderators!

Secondly, could someone tell me what "tunica" means? I'm not a native speaker of English, and I could not find it in the dictionary nor conclude what it means.

A short explanation would be very much appreciated!

Thanks in advance

Well there are two or three chambers as I recall in the penis don't take my word for it however. I know there are at least two of them however. The two I'm certain of are in the sides of your penis (one on each side) these chambers are the TUNICAE.

VR,

The tunica is the tough fibrous sheath which encloses the three chambers of the penis. It prevents further expansion of the penis during erection and is responsible for giving the 'hard' feel to an erection.

I think there are a couple of diagrams with the tunica displayed on Tom's site.

Thanks for the explanation. I found a good illustration on the site indicated.
