View Full Version : problem with jelqing

When I try to jelq and move my hand up the shaft, my skin often moves along with the hand. In other words, my hand doesn't really move up or down the shaft. I've tried using vaseline, but that wears off after about 3 jelqs. Any advice?

You might not be hard enough. Most will say that between 50-80% erect is ideal for wet jelqing.

I don't dry jelq, so I'm not sure about what you should do there.

Try baby oil. It doesn't wear off that quickly. I usually add some hand lotion as well.

When you dry jelq the skin is supposed to slide along the shaft. Just make sure you are applying pressure to the underlying tissue. This has worked well for me.

Dittos on Priapus2000's comments. For me, at least, the uncircumcised foreskin is an asset to PE and dry jelqing. Just retract the skin, grip tightly as close to the pubic bone as possible with the grip of your choice, and jelq forward. If I've retracted properly the skin carries comfortably to the base of the glans which is as far as the jelq should go. Repeat - but occasionally rotate the initial positioning of the thumb and fingers and use alternate hands to insure even distribution of the pressure on the penis. There's no preparation, no mess, no cleanup. It can be done so easily that it's sometimes difficult to enforce those necessary off days.

Jelqing and stretching are working, too, adding over an inch to erect length. And flaccid? I'm almost as long soft as I used to be erect!
