Bend your fully erect penis down so that it is parallel to the ground. Take a ruler and lay it along the top of your penis. Press it against your pubic bone. This will give you a measurement consistent with the way doctors (when they have to) measure.

Just a note on flacid measurements. One way to keep them consistent is to heat for 5 minutes and do a stretched measurement, just to mark your progress. This way the measurement is under the same conditions. When measuring erect, I always measure first thing in the morning when I wake up with an erection. Again to reduce other variables and keep consistently marking my progress.

Reasons for bone-pressed measurements.
1-If you have a large amount of people from around the world that want to compare their erect sizes, the only way to measure exactly the same as someone else is to do the bone-pressed measurement. If not you bring in lots of variables such as body fat, just how hard to push against the skin, etc.
2- Another reason is if I want to monitor my progress over lets say a year, my weight might fluctuate month by month, exactly where I place the ruler and how hard I push against the skin might vary slightly. If you do the bone-pressed measurements consistently and you see a gain on the ruler, there should be no doubt as to whether or not you have gained.
3- Also as mentioned in recent posts, a slight gain may not show up in the non bone-pressed measurements because as the penis gets longer or pulled away from the body, the skin around the base would have a tendency to move forward with it.
It is much more motivating to see the gains as they come in the bonepressed measurement because they show up immediatley and you know they are accurate.
Just my 2 cents.
